Hi Lurgs. Thanks for the video. Quick question if you don't mind. I need to disconnect the heater in the van as it will not switch off at all. Will removing the fuse do this or disconnecting the relay. One other question. Where is the relay located for the heater controls. I cannot see it anywhere on the passenger side as suggested by others. Thanks for your time. John.
If it won’t switch off maybe it’s the dashboard switch at fault? Not sure where the fuse or relay is for this I’m afraid. Hope you find it and get it fixed. Good luck
Really helpful thanks. You gotta be real quick to catch the list of fuse functions...esp with my eyesight - lol. If I ❤ this later it means I've solved the problem - with no previous experience!
This was helpful for Peugeot Partner owners, too, although the fuse layout may not be identical. I wish you had shown how to remove the relays which obscure the fuses.
Hello Lurgs. I have a 2002 Berlingo. RH front indicator not working and it's not the bulb so guess it's a fuse but none of the diagrams show a fuse for indicators. Any ideas? Thanks very much.
Could be a relay but then I think the rear wouldn’t work either on the same side as it will do both. Best get a multimeter on the plug and test it for power when the indicator is on. At least you can see if power is getting to the bulb, if not then it could be wiring
Hello, I have Citroen Berlingo 2003. I have problem with "lights adjustment", which isnt working. Can you help me what to do: is some fuse dead or is it something else. I will be thankful if you answer me on my question. Have a great day/night.
Hey Lurgs you are an awesome guy with very helpful videos. I have a Citroen Berlingo Enterprise 2017 and it have a 12V plug on the back. This plug only will work if I have the key with engine on. The issue is, am a dog walker and use the back 12V plug to power my Karcher OC3 to wash muddy dogs after our walks, I don't feel comfortable leaving my key and engine on whilst am on the back doing my stuff of course fearing someone will jump in and drive away. Can I make the 12V plug on the back of the van to permanently work (powered by the battery) without me needing the key and engine on? I've got a feeling this might be easy to do by just switching a fuse from position but am not sure which fuse and which position to change! Your guidance would be greatly appreciated and if it indeed works I'd be more than happy to pay you a cuppa tea! Thanks :)
Odd, are you sure the engine has to be running? Normally just having the ignition on is enough. Easiest way would be to test the front 12v socket to see if that has power and then if it has power without the ignition on then just get an extension from that to the back. Good luck
@@LurgsHowToGuides I would still have to keep the key in the front seat even if the engine is not on, so my main concern is to have the vehicle stolen really whilst am in the back working. I wouldn't be covered by insurance if that happens. Thanks!
My VW T5 the front 12V socket is live without the ignition on. Only other way would be to take a spare key and lock the drivers door manually with the spare key. Pain though.
