- me and my rhythm guitarist performed the song Waking The Demon by Bullet For My Valentine just without any music, just the 2 guitars. This performance was at the 2012 Randleman High School talent show.

To all the people who have commented. I am the lead guitarist in the video, and I never thought that in a million years I would have 25k views and so many comments (positive or negative)! I really posted it just to have it saved for myself somewhere other than a personal hard drive! Haha nevertheless, thanks for the criticism. This was a night I'll never forget \m/

Amazing! This kind of stuff made me want to pick up a guitar almost 15 years ago, and I’ve never put it down. I’ve played a ton of shows throughout the years, and I completely get the nervousness onstage. You both are kicking ass, hands down. Great work!

Tempo is rushed but shit, pretty clean for just the two of y'all. Really impressed actually by the fact you used no music and Still managed to stay close to tempo.

What’s with people giving them shit, they’re in high school and they did insane. Like the solo was incredible, I couldn’t hear half of it because of the screaming but still. Faster is better
Yeah these guys didn't do perfect or super amazing, but you see, they are performing. They are only 2 guys in front a huge crowd. I'm sure that they understand they didn't do amazing but you see how they handled it? They acted like it was the best show ever. Good additude. I'd bet that most people here havent been in a musical performance like this, so to those who havent, be quiet. And yes, I have performed in front of many before.

What model Jackson is that? The closest I've come to that is the JS30RR FR, but the input is on the inside of the horn.

GabrielTheGuitarist I thought it was the RR24 with the red bevels, but that guitar only has a bridge pickup. That's the second closest guitar.

they are a bit too fast on the tempo, just by 1/4 tempo faster, you gotta do it 1/4 less faster so it can sound like the original song, but good jobs guys, you did awesome

Anyway, we have the total right to say whatever we want and to criticize him, because thats what opinions are for. If someone fucks up, someone needs to tell him. Again, i respect the effort that he put, but he could've practiced more.

Second of all, I practiced a lot, but obviously some people, including myself, get nervous and can screw up. So in short, no amount of "practice" can prevent getting nervous. Lastly, the original comment that I am referring to, he said "sorry boys but this sucks" so please explain to me how that is what you're calling criticism. Criticism is "nice work guys, but you could have done better at this part" or something along those lines. I guess what I'm getting at is everything you have said has no validity.
