I was completely blown off by the videos you had of the different places you visited in my country. I was so touched by how your experiences were in my country, making friends with the locals in the process and understanding our culture. God bless you in your travel always
Gotta be one of the best Delos videos in the collection! Amazing locations, fantastic dive clips. Oh...and Phoebe's music has gone from outstanding to irresistable. Fair winds and safe travels guys. This one was so worth the wait! Somebody get Karin a mango. She's earned it!
I found your videos only a couple days ago, but what I like is how your filmmaking has so much gotten better over the time. well made, nicely narrated, and very entertaining
Man!! Once again, you guys have taken it to a new level. The footage is great, the picture quality is great, and you guys are great. Thanks for sharing.
As a wreck diver or should I say an artificial reef diver, this is what is must be like to dive on a real ship wreck. Beautiful job once again on the video editing.
Ok, I have seen a lot of these videos and this is one of the best. Diving on ww2 wrecks. Imagine the battle and the history. So many years after we have reefs for divers. Time and nature changes everything. Well done.
Just found your vid's in the past week. Brings back old memories. Learned to dive in the Philippines -- 18 years ago -- in a slightly abnormal way. The first time I took a breath under water we went down ~10 meters to a sandy flat amidst the coral. What a way to be introduced!!
Nice installment. (Karin's last one was super awesome too!) I liked seeing the sailing gear at work - the furlers, windlass and such. The quadcopter shot of the Delos jib was a cool way to wrap-up. You all do a really great job of telling good stories of your adventures.
Absolutely fabulous , Watching your videos soothes the pain of my major shoulder surgery.. Thanks. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your fantastic adventures.
When I am in a rotten mood (or good too) I can watch a DELOS video, or three, and just get lost with the Beauty of the Sea. Fish I have never seen or will, the so-so very remote islands that I never even knew about or thought that they might exist, the other cultures and more. Thanks for bring the knowledge and beauty to life for me. Be well, stay healthy, and keep filming. Peace
I've watched them all and I have to say... for me, this was the best video so far. Wonderful production value, music, visuals, and story. Absolutely loved it. Fair winds, guys. :)
I read this today and thought of you guys! "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and inspiring us. It's my goal to be out cruising soon! Cheers!
I have been struggling with my calling in life but I can truly say that YOU have made the picture so clear for me! Thank You S/V Delos!! I have about half the money for a new Bavaria sailing yacht so I'll be saving for about five more years..going to Fort Lauderdale for live-aboard sailing school and am going to get scuba certified in my home town of San Antonio..The world will be my oyster..You never know..we might be in the same lagoon one day..smooth sailing guys and girls!!
Patrick Moore Thats awesome Patrick! Thanks so much for following and we are so happy we have inspired you in some way! Hope to see ya out there. Cheers, Brady
"The coolest thing is this war machine, once purposed for so much destruction, is now a home to some of the most peaceful creatures on the planet." That's one of the best quotes I've heard so far. Envious of you guys... And waiting for my chance to live a similar life. Fair winds, Delos crew. And cheers.
agree with Dustin V. anyway Brian, where did you get such meaningful quotes? those stupid people out there should learn from those peaceful creatures down there in the ocean on how to appreciate PEACE.
Its my favourite so far... Geeze, nothing says landlocked like watching these videos from middle-Europe with much, much wanderlust .. nice one you guys! I think this is really my favourite - the reason is that it depicts cruising at its finest: only two eggs left, so you hoist and move on. Great to see you guys out there surviving together .. a terrific love story, IMHO! :) Sail on, lady Delos ..
Wow,where do I begin?!Just AMAZING footage! What an AMAZING planet we live on!First off what a thorough job of narration.Very clear descriptions and very interesting personal insights. And your sailing vessel is as equally breathtaking as the AMAZING views(including the sexy back getting a tan, hehe).I wish there was some sort of potion I could drink to make us change places for a few months. On one hand you would understand oppression on a completely new level. You would have a entirely new level of appreciation for the life you have been blessed with.I know you probably worked very very hard to get to do this but alot of it is just being blessed to being born into a situation that nobody has control over what families we are born into. But on the other hand I would be the one experiencing first hand what I consider to be the perfect existance.Words cant describe how bad I long to live aboard a nice big sailboat. Its such a spiritual calling for me.I was born into a very negligent family and when attention was given it was of the abusive variety. It left me feeling invisible at times and wishing I was invisible at other times. So I felt I could do better on my own at 15 yrs old.I started working at many jobs.Mostly agricultural as farmers are always in need of strong backs.I have done pretty much every kind of farm work known to man.I can run any kind of equipment.Though I have gathered that a sailboat is a cat of a differant color. But I feel like I was on a boat in a previous life.I think its something that I would take to like a duck does to water.I am a great navigator. As I have tried to get lost in all my travels but always felt at home where ever I went. And that,to me,is the differance between the nomads and the nonadventurist hobbits that enjoy thier predictable shires.Anyways,I guess as you can see I am also a talker,;-).Though I have travelled most of the north american continent....I feel like shoving off and experiencing the serenity and selective solitude that only the ocean can provide.I have soooooooo many hours logged of boating films and I really enjoy watching the upkeep portions of the video as much as the rest of it.I am a carpenter and a mechanic so I feel pretty confident that I can handle the upkeep and upgrades to a vessel.Anyway,Thank you SO MUCH for this great and wonderful footage! The 5 days it took to upload onto yt was well worth it from my p.o.v.Safe journeys and CHEERS!Namaste⛵
Whitey J Hey Whitey! Thanks so much for the comment! Depending on where you live I think you should head to the nearest marina or boat club and talk to the people about crewing on friendly races during the week! They are always looking for a hand and a smile. We wish you the best of luck with your future and really hope you continue to enjoy and watch our adventures. As long as you can smile we are happy! Cheers, Brady
Wow you guys are in India already! Great video! I hope to be back in the Philippines toward the end of the year. It's been about 8yrs since I've been back home (San Diego being my main residence). Makes me sad to watch these episodes, I miss my homeland so much! Glad you guys had a wonderful time. Enjoy and be safe always! God bless.
You know, those Lion Fish are REALLY good to eat! Don't let their poisonous fins deter you from eating them, they're some of the BEST fish you can eat. There are also tons of videos on how to hunt and fillet them. And the easy part, they don't have any predators, so it's literally like shooting ducks in a barrel. Awesome video series!! I am completely hooked and doing my part to catch up now.
I live in Thailand and am awaiting your arrival. ;) Don't miss the Similan Islands Marine Park and of course you'll want to spend a few days anchored in Krabi for spectacular views of the lime stone formations.
Hi Brian & Karin, been meaning to say hello for a while now. Your videos are an inspiration to watch and they always make me feel refreshed and part of your enlarged family. I have to say tho, that this time you have outdone yourselves, beautiful images galore and the mind boggling diving, wow. Too bad your brother and Josje weren't there to experience the diving with you. I'm tight at at the moment but i intend to help you out in the near future. Keep 'em coming and happy sailing! Stef.
Great vid! For the non-divers "Narked" is what happens at deep dives which induces nitrogen narcosis. A healthy buzz as long as you swim up and not into the abyss.
I really really really love your videos. Thanks so much for posting. You do such a great job with these. They are paced just right, and that's not something everyone can do. Wish I could join you!
I've been enjoying following your sailing trip on you tube. This one is a place I went with my then girl friend now wife. We stayed at the Al Faro resort and enjoyed it very much with some of the best sunsets and we were also enjoyed the hospitality of the staff. We dived most of the wrecks with D'divers just next to Al faro. My girls friend ( now wife ) learnt to dive there. How's that learning to dive on ww2 ship wrecks.
Cool Diver's paradise. 👍 Amazing well preserved, pristine yet peaceful resting area of sunken ships which is now habitat to marine lives. Thanks for sharing video.
Fantastic. I love Coron, it's one of my favourite spots, and can't wait to sail over next year. Thanks for your video! I've gone diving in most wrecks, but they were all guided. I'm curious to know how you were confident enough to explore the wrecks yourselves and whether you were able to obtain good information on the safe areas to explore? Not sure if you were aware but in 2013, Busuanga and Coron got hit very badly by typhoon Haiyan. We set up a community to help with fundraising and it was comforting to see the progress 2 years later.
+Kara de los Reyes Hey there- yeah Coron is SWEET! Me and Karin have done quite a bit of wreck diving so we just started out penetrating little by little until we were familiar with the wrecks. We spent about a month there so had plenty of time to do a few dives a day. We were actually in the Philippines when Haiyan rolled through, but we were down south in Davao so out of the main path. We had some friends in Coron though on a mooring when it went right over them and they survived! Fair Winds- Brian
+SV Delos Sailing Thanks Brian! Gosh good to know your friends were okay when the typhoon hit, that's one of out greatest fears. We haven't done a lot of wreck diving ourselves so we will probably have to do more before gaining the confidence to explore further. Fair winds to you too and looking forward to the next videos. -Kara

You guys make my heart ache and my face smile.
All the best to ya.
Another sweet video. Thanks from a guy stuck in the middle of the US. Always looking forward to your great videos.
Now that was serene - will have to show my wife what our future cruising could look like! Most awesomeness indeed.
Man!! Once again, you guys have taken it to a new level. The footage is great, the picture quality is great, and you guys are great. Thanks for sharing.
This is rapidly becoming my favorite channel on youtube. I love Karin's attitude, "but it is alright" to just about any problem.
As a wreck diver or should I say an artificial reef diver, this is what is must be like to dive on a real ship wreck. Beautiful job once again on the video editing.
+Paul Wilson Thanks Paul, yeah if you ever get the chance to go to Coron, Palawan for a diving holiday it's well worth it. Fair Winds! Brian

My number one sailing destination. Coron and Palawan! Some day.
Y'all have definitely found the Light! Thanks for taking us along! Great videos!
Best video to date. Technical work, scene selections, and variety. WOW!!! That's the best word I can come up with.
I think this is my favorite video so far! The music choice and timing is impeccable. You guys are getting REALLY good at editing!
After a really crappy day it's nice to come home to Delos videos. Fair winds from Ft.Lauderdale!!

I have to agree with Ted Smith. That was one of the greatest of a really wonderful body of work from Delos. Thanks so much and fair winds.
Another solid gold video, the shots diving so fine. I really needed a Delos getaway mini vacation with Houston traffic today. Thank You
This was a great video. One of my favorites...as sailing, diving, romance and adventure should be. Well done.
+ChrisfromNC Thanks very much for that, really appreciate your comment. Fair Winds! Brian
it's amazing that you spend more time here in the Philippines unlike in any other videos you have in other countries... God bless your journey
Incredible video quality guys! Great to see a new one, I was going through withdrawals. Looking forward to the next. Be safe
Great video as always. Life time experiences. The reef density in Apo is something special which alas people may never see in their lives.

Most fish are carnivorous, just saying.
Akitsushima was a seaplane tender. So it fueled and armed seaplanes to fly around and mostly scout for the fleet. Pretty cool stuff.

Great video! I think I have seen 90% of them. I will buy you guys a beer!
Fantastic. I love Coron, it's one of my favourite spots, and can't wait to sail over next year. Thanks for your video! I've gone diving in most wrecks, but they were all guided.
