You should do a video on the F4U-7, last production Corsair and was used exclusively by the French Navy. It carries an insane amount of SNEB rockets and is perhaps the best CAS fighter in the French tree.
Should also be mentioned that it’s one of the slowest planes at low altitude at its BR. The turbo installation and exposed pipes just add a ton of extra drag which is only worth it at high alts where the turbo can maintain engine power relative to other planes. It’s definitely no P-47 (which was designed from the onset with that huge fuselage to house the turbocharger in a relatively low-drag configuration).
This was the first premium fighter that I owned outside of your usual signing up bonus Buffalo. I have a few things to say about this bird for future buyers (although looking at the price, I don't think anyone outside of collectors will buy it). This is a very unique aircraft that atleast in your first turn merge can mimick a low lowered yak in that it will surprise people seeing a 190 turn that quickly. 190C will feel like an unfinished flight model once you push it a bit from your normal War thunder maneuvers, such as rudder kicking and landing flaps rate fights. It's belly hump really takes a toll on the flight model and although I have yet to rip it in a dive, this thing retains controls well in steep dives, which is surprising how bad 190 elevators are modeled in game, even though they're electrically actuated rather than hydraulically or pneumatic. This intercooler hump should help you at 8km and above alts but like Tim said, you don't usually get to fight up that high anyways. I'm glad I played it in the golden era of air rb, mg 151s were buffed recently, there was no Ju288 spam and there was historical match making as opposed to what we have now, so this makes the 190c loose out on any and all advantages it has in the current environment. I firmly believe that in current meta this thing should be 4.7 or even 4.3 in battle rating, it's advantages lie so much on the margins that it hardly comes into play, although it does great in catching newer players off guard who think they can maneuver away from a tail sitting 190. I like this bird a lot, and yes I do concede that it certainly looks great but out of all the FW series, only the 152-H1 can have the beauty crown, even bar none among all ww2 birds.
Agree 100%. Anyone buying this on the Marketplace will be disappointed in its performance vs its hefty price tag. It’s a nice looking bird, but the beauty crown belongs to the Doras..sorry 152.

I was surprised you didn't mention the insane idle thrust in the landing section. I'm not really confident with skid-turning to stop in this thing, but the idle thrust prevents you from stopping without digging your nose into the ground. So I found it necessary to shut down the engine once all wheels have made ground contact in order to stop safely.

Just in terms of looks for me the 190 F-8 takes the cake of the 190's. I dont like the huge intakes on the belly, which is also why I dont find the p51 particularly beautiful. Best looking prop in my opinion is p-63a-10, closely followed by the F-8 (and the Anton's), the ta154a1, and the Griffon bubble canopy Spits. However most beautiful plane overall is obviously the Mirage 2000 ;)
This plane looks so cool, until you notice that giant air intake on the bottom. Two 20mms are more than enough in terms of armament (from my experience with stealth belts at least) to take care out of pretty much any enemy with just one or two bursts. I personally prefer A-5/U2 which has no mgs, but they are borderline useless anyway.
@@csh5414 For which gamemode? For RB, my best tip is to not play them because of repair costs. In AB, you should take advantage of your firepower and durability; find groups of enemies, delete them, go back to reload and regain a bit of altitude. This should easily gain you over 10 kills per battle. You can turn with enemies but only when you have energy, the lighter variants are obviously better it it. Headons are a pretty good option, especially if you're good at them. In terms of loadouts, I always use stealth on all of the guns and no payload or gunpods.

Its not as good but if you play it like me and just no skill head on and clap slow players you can mabey get like 3 kills before dying to some bs r60s. F4C is way better and honestly you should stick to it but the f104a and c aren't so bad but if they were put to 9.7 it would ruin that already shit br

As a fighter player i find it at least subpar in air rb, but seems amazing in ground RB
@@cana0 even in air rb, they can crack pill boxes and heavy tanks. With over 100 rockets you can do that for awhile

I dont see a real problem with the armament. The additional 2 20mm cannons in the wing tips never do much for me, nor do the 13mm machineguns.
