I watched this movie on acid the first time I saw it and got Deja Vu more than 15 times through out. I kept getting visions of the house I grew up in and events that didn't take place but I knew them like memories of dreams or messages from another world. But it was still me. I can still feel those memories today with vivid clarity. It's almost like this movie unlocked a story in my existence I was supposed to forget.
This edit feels very different from many edits on Donnie Darko. I loved how you've focused on the love story between Donnie and Gretchen, which i always find a sweet teen romance

I truly am impressed by the romantic scenes in this film. they are honestly groundbreaking in their dialogue and in the directing.
