Hi Dana, many congrats on your pregnancy.❤️That's great news. Many years ago I had three kids under 5 and I still managed to get some stitching done, so there is hope! Your wips are looking lovely..oh, that Haed is so beautiful. And what a wonderful gift to give your kids, a blanket each, that's so nice. Stay well!
Thank you Karen! Glad to hear there is still stitching time to be had with three little kids. I'm a night person so I usually get my stitching in then. Good to hear from you. Take care!
Congratulations Dana. So happy for you and your family. And happy to hear your feeling better. Better get that stitching done before September. Lol. Your finish from the Drawn Thread is just simply beautiful. Your Esters Waves is already looking jaw dropping beautiful so I can imagine what the ended piece will be. Wow you got alot of progress done on your stocking. I need to pull mine out and work on it. Or it's never going to get finished. Looking forward to seeing you progress on your Chatelaine. I think Mother Nature is having hot flashes every once in awhile. Then gets the chills. Till next time Happy Stitching.
Thank you for your wonderful comment. I've never heard of nature being explained like that...too funny! The stockings are really nice but they take a long time. So worth it once they are finished and can be used every year. Here's to hoping I can finish 5 of them!!!! Take care and happy stitching!
Hi Dana, congratulations on your pregnancy 🤰 and a beautiful little girl on her way. You are glowing! Your Christmas stocking is looking amazing, you’ve stitched so much on it. Great progress on your other wips too, and you are talented making all those baby blankets for your children. Lovely to see you again. With my third pregnancy I was also very sick with nausea so I know how you felt earlier, great to hear you’re feeling better now. Happy stitching xx
Thank you so much! We are beyond excited for another little tiny baby. I'm so happy to be back into crafting after a long break of doing almost nothing. Must be worse third time around as we are more tired with two other children and less time to focus on ourselves. Thank goodness for the second trimester!! Hope you are doing well. I am enjoying seeing your pumpkin progress. Take care!
Well for goodness sake! I haven't seen a post from you since way back when you were first saying you were moving to Vermont. It's so nice to see you and you are looking really well. Congratulations on your little baby daughter on the way! I'm so happy for you. Hope everything goes well. Your project progression is phenomenal! The blanket is gorgeous! I'm really loving the stocking progression and your HAED! I'm doing my first HAED of a Stitch in Time and after several starts, finally settled on the pre-gridded fabric for mine. The little grid is helping SO much! I also decided to do the Max colors and although I had a page done in the lesser count, am liking this one better. It took some re-learning of the color/symbol make up though and buying of more threads as they aren't the same colors for the Max version nor are they paired with the same symbols as before. The pages are also bigger 8 squares by 10 rows so I am still learning. Really looking forward to getting to one of the stitching ladies but they are on other pages from where I am. I put a square a day in except for Sunday so it's moving along well. Enjoy your time at home with the children and hubby and of course your stitching projects and welcome back! - - - Did you start your cutaway house (doll's house?) on Christmas Eve? I'm keen on seeing that one when you do as well. As always, thanks for sharing!
Hello Lilia!! Thank you for your kind comment! The stockings are fun and will be so worth it when they all hang on the mantle. Glad to hear you are figuring your way through a massive HAED. It took me restarting and a lot of methods before feeling more comfortable. That being said, I still seem to change things up every page I do. I have A Stitch in Time in my stash but I'm thinking about ordering A Stitching Shelf instead. I have not yet started Up on the Rooftop. I thought about it but I am so hesitant to have another large full coverage on the go. I just love progress! So nice to hear from you. Take care!
@@gemstonestitches7632 Thank you! I wanted to find the best way for me and starting over helped me to see the differences and when I figured out how long I'd be working on it, I thought it better to find a way that worked now rather than to struggle the whole way. I put in my square today and it was mostly all the black near the key on that first page so it went fast. It left me time to try to get the Enchanted Mermaid going. I finally got the crown of her head on with the spaces for beading and will move onto it and the Kreinik on her wreath so I'm looking forward to some sparkly! I didn't do Maynia but figured I'd to MerMay; a left over from my watercoloring days. :) I'm hoping to get the wreath and her face and skin on before May ends. Usually it takes all morning just to get my HAED square done before being stitched out but today was a happy and productive day. You take care too and it was so good to see your posting again your progress.
Hi. Congratulations. I always like your drawn thread patterns. I also have the same Chatelaine pattern but am still too intimidated to start. I don't have a big frame for it and am going to try on a q snap. And bead later. Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing your progress. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations Dana! September is a great birthday month. :) You'll have to find another stocking for the new addition. Your projects are so beautiful, I always enjoy seeing what you're up to! The little monthly series you're talking about I think is the Little House Needleworks Sampler Months.
Hi Leah! Thank you so much. You must have a September birthday too :) I have three stocking kits in my stash but there is one I'm not sure about. That being said, there isn't another one that I want. Well, there are a couple older ones on eBay but they cost hundreds! Maybe I'll talk about that in my next video. I believe you are right about the monthly series. I do love me a seasonal or months series! Glad to hear from you! Take care!
