So wonderful to see you getting back to your old self again. God is so good to us. He answered my prayers and I am sure many others that has been made for your family. Love you guys, This recipe is going to work out great for me, being I don't have to stand over a stove and watch the chocolate from burning, Thanks for sharing Ms Katie
I was always told, to avoid burning, or getting the chocolate too hot, that you put all of the nuts on the bottom. That way it also kind of roasts your nuts in the process and makes them taste better. I use Spanish Peanuts, so that works perfectly for me.:) I also use a bag of peanut butter chips with mine, if you’d like to try that sometime. If your slow cooker cooks hot, you can do this on the Warm setting, as well.:)) God Bless! 🙏🏼🎄🎋
Looks yummy you look so much better and sound better God answers prayers prayers Mr P is back to himself also enjoy everything God has for you love you guys
Thank-you! This afternoon I re-read your encouraging notes and cards that you sent during the past tough weeks. Thank-you! MrP is better, as well. He was pretty tired after work today. Today is his second full day back. He worked partial days last week. We both have to take lots of breaks during the day but we remain grateful. We are surely thankful. ❤️
Hi beautiful Katie, I make many variations of crockpot candy every year for the holidays and give many pounds away as gifts. Everyone loves it! I’m definitely going to try your way of spreading it out on a cookie sheet, I’ve always spooned it out and as much as I make it’s time consuming. Thank you for sharing your tip, I love it! Blessings sweet friend ♥️xxx
Sounds great! Pouring it out sure is a time saver for me, my friend. I suppose the spooned out version is prettier if you need it pretty for a tray or company but my little cookie monsters don't care what it looks like! 😂😍
Does anybody remember when toll House morsels were a 1 lb bag?! It seems that everything we eat has been shaved down over the years so we didn't notice it missing. Just like a 1 lb can of coffee is now 13 Oz!
O my goodness i done these and they are amazing. Half of the pot i put raisins in and they are great !!! Thank you for the share. Happy Thanksgiving to you and all of yours 🦃
I am SO glad to hear that you enjoyed this recipe/method. Raisins sound like a smart idea. 😃 Thank-you so much! We hope you have a peaceful and thankful week-end, as well. 🧡katie
My shopping choices are my personal convictions which I don’t bind on others. Folks need to make their own choices. Please do not use my Lord’s Name in vain on this channel. Thank-you. 👍🏽katie
This is a link to my printable recipe for this candy. I use a 6 qt crockpot and start it on high, turning it to low after 45 minutes. My crockpot does not have temperatures, just the high / low settings. I hope this helps. It's quite yummy! heritageways.com/recipes-and-methods-2/slow-cooker/easy-crockpot-candy/
Please read the print above where it says almond bark! This is not almond bark there are no almonds in it it is for making almond bark with. My biggest Christmas pet peeve is almond bark and people not reading the label right on the front. They see the big words almond bark and that's what they think it's called.
That’s interesting. I did an internet search to find an alternate name for this product and couldn’t find it. I do understand about pet peeves. I suppose we all have them. Many of mine are exposed in the comments that folks leave here but one thing I have learned by responding to hundreds of folks a month is that grace must abound. ♥️🙌🏽
So easy and yummy. I just found my container of it has been halfway consumed but the kids seem to not know where the candy went. 😃😬🤪🥴 I hid the rest. 🤩😂
Bless your heart, you were so kind to visit my kitchen. This helps me to realize that not everyone has been cooking for 50 years and can create without a recipe. 😉

Yes! Thank you! We truly are grateful for His Healing blessings and all of His people who support and encourage us. ❤️
That's how I do it too. I pour it on cookie sheet and break it apart. Saves a lot of time. Looks good!
You go, girl!!
Ooooooh, I bet that's GOOOOOOD!!! Perfect for Christmas snacking and gift-giving!
It is!

Wonderful way to make bark while still doing other things. Thank you for sharing.
You bet! 😃❤️
❤️🥰 ❤️ My friends ! It looks so delicious. You're very good at cooking. That's a good recipe. wow good Information. ❤️🥰 ❤️
I make this every year but I never thought to make it as bark! That’s a great idea!🧡 So good to see you, Katie!
Easier that way. LOL
What a wonderful easy recipe for Christmas giving! Thank you for sharing. God bless you and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Hi beautiful Katie,
I make many variations of crockpot candy every year for the holidays and give many pounds away as gifts.
Everyone loves it!

Love a new holiday idea! Looks like Katie got her mojo back!
😃😃😃Sho nuff getting there. 😂😍 Thanks!!
Will definitely be adding to Christmas goodies!
Wonderful!
Put your nuts or peanuts in first on low for 3 hours. Do not stir til finished. I put them in mini cupcake holders.
Does anybody remember when toll House morsels were a 1 lb bag?! It seems that everything we eat has been shaved down over the years so we didn't notice it missing. Just like a 1 lb can of coffee is now 13 Oz!
Agree. Same with mayo and ice cream.
Dry roasted peanuts have onion and garlic on them. I use cocktail peanuts.
Thanks for sharing.
If I make this I would use a paper towel doubled on top of the crockpot and I use a dish towel also so water doesn't drip in the chocolate. Thank you
Great idea. I don't have a condensation issue but that's great if it works for you. ❤️
O my goodness i done these and they are amazing. Half of the pot i put raisins in and they are great !!!

Amazon has Reynolds Crock-Pot liners six packs six to a package for $3 each I bought three packages.
Good to know. I boycott Amazon and WalMart but this might help other cooks 👍🏽Thanks for sharing.

Did you have it on low or warm?
Here's my printable recipe. Hope it helps.

Can you please tell me the name of the print shop who makes them? I'm in Colorado. I would like to print my own magnets with my logo. Thanks
Sure! ForgetMeNotMagnets on Etsy
Love CP candy 😋
So easy and yummy. I just found my container of it has been halfway consumed but the kids seem to not know where the candy went. 😃😬🤪🥴 I hid the rest. 🤩😂
Jeez ,this was annoying. If you don't have the ingredients for the recipe, then (a) go to the store or (b) make something else!
