The bit about the Miner asking for the Mp3 player with their music on was quite moving really. Just goes to show they go through their lives just like most others. Sound guys really. Hats off to Dave & Taylor. Respect!
I believe it's rare to find a friend like Taylor is to Dave. I did have that back in early high school with a wonderful friend, Bonnie. We loved music so much. Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Humble Pie, and the list is never ending. Bonnie was my twin and we shared so much together. Pretending we were rock stars. As luck would have it, we went our separate ways when guys/boyfriends came into view.. Truthfully, my heart crumpled then.
And to think that Kurt and Kurt were friends for such a short time compared to his time spent with Taylor...and I think this a huge positive because we have nothing but pure raw essence of 20 years of Taylor Hawkins and Dave's chemistry was like no other being beautiful together...and those help heal . My heart bleeds.
Once in awhile.... I find a person that has a voice that just relaxes me and is great at talking about life... Dave is great at this and i love finding some longer interviews for that reason.
This is my favorite Foo Fighters interview, I just love the funny parts. Dave is such a great storyteller and with Taylor there they just make almost a comedic duo. Hilarious to watch.
Awesome video! Foo Fighters f-n rock, saw them in Denver a couple years ago and it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. I think Dave Grohl is one of the coolest persons around!
Dave is just the most awesome rad dude. People have given him shit about about the first Foo Fighters albums because of it being "Nirvana style music", God bless him for keeping up with that. And have been giving him shit about not appearing in "Montage of heck" but you only need to look at the footage in that documentary to see that he WAS involved.
when Bob Dylan asks you how to play Everlong, you teach Bob Dylan to play Everlong. In reference to their interview 10'41" that's a true testament to an amazing piece of music. Congrats Foo you guys have changed my life for the better please continue to rock this world.
*I'm sure for Dave this is like Kurt's death all over again. Being apart of a band then suddenly something's missing. Taylor was his best friend. Dudes been through too much*
I didn't get the initial impression about "Let it Die" had anything to do with Kurt. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that my interest in the Foo Fighters came about completely separately from my interest in Nirvana, but still... musicians have lives more complex and more deep than just what we see. The baby conversation was priceless. And Taylor, calling Dave out on his error ("it wasn't Sharon Stone, and it as Goodfellas")... that was gold.
It’s times like these you learn to live again It’s times like these you give and give again It’s times like these you learn to love again It’s times like these time and time again
Such cool guys in Foo Fighters .. They're just dudes u know? One of "us" I like that vibe ..I think its the reason why Dave and the boys are so successful! Keep on Rockin Foo!
I just read about Dave's violence towards Kurt in "Liar and a Thief" by Michael Sovrakian. Pushing a 130 pound flight case onto kurts legs after shoving him off a loading dock in Sweden was the most insane thing ive ever read.
Taylor: If you don't have a child, you're not a man! George: I'm fine with that, I'm a woman. Strombo is probably one of the best interviewers out there, I miss him spending more time with the Foos, my fav band ever.
it's been said, and in my opinion......dave has to be the nicest and most genuine guy in rock!!!!!!!!hey.......everyone's entitled to their opinion..........thats mine..............funny guy like
Taylor never fails to come in with something light and funny at just the right moments, they've got a great friendship
"Fun stories and antidotes" - Taylor man, I love this guy's innocence xD
I'll miss him forever
Hard not to love Taylor☺️💖 Missed terribly!
Forever in our hearts
RIP Taylor. Condolences to his family, band and fans.
This is one of my favourite interviews. It shows the true friendship between Taylor and Dave. RIP Taylor.
I can't watch this without smiling the whole time..!
These men are not afraid to be vulnerable and to show their humanity.
The bit about the Miner asking for the Mp3 player with their music on was quite moving really. Just goes to show they go through their lives just like most others. Sound guys really. Hats off to Dave & Taylor. Respect!
"It was just time to... keep playing" That advice is gold.. in life, you just really do have to keep moving
Soulmates ♥️ Dave and Taylor sweet history of love for years
i love how in almost every interview, taylor is like, 0.0.... wait what? oh yea *answers*
The love these two have for each other is so awesome :)
:(
And to think that Kurt and Kurt were friends for such a short time compared to his time spent with Taylor...and I think this a huge positive because we have nothing but pure raw essence of 20 years of Taylor Hawkins and Dave's chemistry was like no other being beautiful together...and those help heal . Dave And Taylor together is timeless
Dave Grohl... fucking great musician and even greater person.
Once in awhile.... I find a person that has a voice that just relaxes me and is great at talking about life... Dave is great at this and i love finding some longer interviews for that reason.
Feel for Dave. He's had some deep loss. (and a childhood friend also this same week) RIP Taylor
LOVE THEM BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!
just thinking how lucky we are to see these videos and have youtube--gotta love it!
I love Dave's interviews, they're always funny, spontaneous, and authentic. And the way he talks, and moves his hair .. It's so cute.🇧🇷❤❤❤🔥
he is hot!
Funny you mentioned how he moves his hair. He has used the same move for years. Even if you couldn't see his face you would recognize "The Hair Move".
*awkward silence* "...i just wanted you to get that, you know-" "thanks taylor"
Dave is such a brilliant personality. One of the very best to ever step into the music industry.
lol at first if you turn the sound off, it looks like Taylor's pissed and Dave's trying to explain something like in a marrriage counseling session
I never get tired of this video.
love his face when he says "bob who?" ^^
and when he smacks taylor on the stomach at 10.11
This is my favorite Foo Fighters interview, I just love the funny parts. Dave is such a great storyteller and with Taylor there they just make almost a comedic duo. Hilarious to watch.
I was about to start trolling about the Casino/ Goodfellas thing when Taylor jumped in! Taylor is a super troll!
These guys are so real, no mask or act to put on, just two friends/bandmates having a laugh and talking about their lives. :) Truly admirable
"...Thanks Taylor!" XD
aww taylor hahah
i love how he taps him on the shoulder to correct them.
they love each other so much ahah
OH MY GOD IM A PARENT!!!
Priceless
They are rockstar rolemodels, i love em both.
"If you don't want me to curse, just put my daughter right here."
Very cool interview, these guys rock...I LOVE EM....Can't wait to see em in April..hangin out!!!
Taylor stretching his back at 10:12 is too funny. And I love how Dave smacks Taylor's arm at 9:51. LOL. It's another classic Foo's interview.
They are awesome together.
I just saw them tonight....AMAZING!!
Awesome interview! You guys rock! Can't wait to see you at Milton Keynes, UK x Peace
I love this guys interviews. He really knows great topics to talk about. It's not just the same old questions over and over.

This is the last foo Fighter's video i see before i leave for their concert in Stockholm!
They Rock!
"cuss' , it's American slang for swearing
ROCK AND GROHL!
Awesome video! Foo Fighters f-n rock, saw them in Denver a couple years ago and it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. I think Dave Grohl is one of the coolest persons around!
Both amazing drummers Taylor Hawkins and Dave Grohl !!!!!! And I am a drummer my self too =)
every time he says 'talk about it' in any interview, I immediatly start singing Big Me in my head
and poor Dave has had to go through the devastation at losing a best friend again - darling Taylor you will be missed always x
Incredible! They're all so very talented!
lol. i love how taylor tapped him on the shoulder lol.
Great interview!
love them and this interview like hot buttered biscuits on a Sunday morning!!!!
"i thought you were talking about the breakup of creed!"
i could have listened to them talking for hours
when Bob Dylan asks you how to play Everlong, you teach Bob Dylan to play Everlong. In reference to their interview 10'41" that's a true testament to an amazing piece of music.
Congrats Foo you guys have changed my life for the better please continue to rock this world.
Foo Fighters is here to stay!
I sat in that exact same spot as Dave Grohl yesterday. w0w
*I'm sure for Dave this is like Kurt's death all over again. Being apart of a band then suddenly something's missing. Taylor was his best friend. Dudes been through too much*
i think this is even worse for dave since he knew kurt for only 4 years while he knew taylor for 25.. so sad
@@SmashyPlaysfr
awesome
two rock guys that grew up!
And Taylor, calling Dave out on his error ("it wasn't Sharon Stone, and it as Goodfellas")... that was gold.
can relate to the transition into parenthood
wish more people would

"And I'm like.. Bob, who?"
lol :) I love'em both.
Dave & Taylor rocks!
oh yeah! I don't know who's hotter: Dave or Taylor? I love them both! I can't choose!
Dave sounds so much different from his excited screaming voice he does when he sings. :D He's so awesome. THE FOOS FOREVER!
"Hands off my song Bob!" lol gotta love Dave
great dads!
i wish dave was my best friend and coming over and hanging out!
I just read about Dave's violence towards Kurt in "Liar and a Thief" by Michael Sovrakian. Pushing a 130 pound flight case onto kurts legs after shoving him off a loading dock in Sweden was the most insane thing ive ever read.
That's it. I'm gonna go listen to some Creed now.

RIP Taylor Hawkins
I LOVE YOU DAVE.
@randomguy1774 I agree. I think he looks more like Dave than anyone else.
this is a great comment !!!!
i totally agree with you, brother
my dad worked with the host in a movie theatre when they were teenagers. lawl
AT V-fest Dave said they we're gona go home and make another album
I love Foo Fighters, but Taylor confusing antidotes with anecdotes makes you happy Dave is the lyricist
Taylor: If you don't have a child, you're not a man!
George: I'm fine with that, I'm a woman.
Strombo is probably one of the best interviewers out there, I miss him spending more time with the Foos, my fav band ever.
Shut up,Taylor's hot!
it's been said, and in my opinion......dave has to be the nicest and most genuine guy in rock!!!!!!!!hey.......everyone's entitled to their opinion..........thats mine..............funny guy like

it is true though
i mean taylor goes there expecting to talk about his band and ends up talking about a band that ended 15 years ago
They're buddies... they're just playing with each other like guys do.
Good show, great band:)
