The good thing about setting everything all the way up is that you can use your volume knob to not change the volume necessarily but the amount of fuzz. A good fuzz pedal will clean up at lower volumes
Sounds awesome. How is it with impedance? Can it go farther down your peddle chain? Or is it like the original fuzz faces that need to be first in line?
It’s like an old one, except it’s true bypass. It needs to be first or second in the chain. I have the Dunlop JHF1, which these are based on, and sometimes it would work after a Wah, sometimes it squealed. I think the Dunlop JHF1 is a better circuit, with better transistors. The BC108’s can have many differences, such as higher or less gain, snd how well they cleanup with the guitar’s volume knob. Checkout the Sitek Fuzzy Face. It has all the same capabilities as those Benson Fuzzes, with more tweakability. It can go anywhere in the chain. Formula B has a cool one called the Fuzz Ranger, that’s a bit more expensive, but has a Rangemaster circuit and can go after wahs. Just look, and you can find better options, for not a lot more cash.
I'd buy this just for the box. Love that art work.
Good tones and demo!
Thanks Joss. Nice playing on that Little Wing intro!
Killer video
Thanks Matt!
It is true that the best settings on a Fuzz Face is all the way up.

Gah, why won't MXR listen to the consumers and move their power input to the top of the pedal?!?!?!?!
I 100% agree. It’s such a pain.
But I prefer it on the sides. O_O
@@LiechtensteinGuy I don't really mind the sides but geeze put it above the 1/4" jack instead of underneath it haha
He has the box!
I found the JHS fan! Welcome!
Who's Hendrix
what else it takes for you to play some jimi on top of this pedal? cmon man
About 5 more years of practice. I suck dude.
@@averagejer Im pretty sure you can play some, you dont suck at all. thatnk for the video anyway!
Shave the beard and then maybe
