I'm being so real right now that this gave me the hardest laugh I've ever had in a long while like it got to a point where i had to pause the video towards the end because i was laughing too much and it was almost starting to hurt.
It might honestly be funny to give yourself more time on these to try and actually test your producing whilst having the contrast of the series where you can't hear what you are making. This was a fun idea!

I think you should do what you accidentally did here - 10 or 20 minutes to make a song but you can pause and think whenever. One moment you're calmly explaining your plan, the next you're ripping through shake it off at 3 times the speed, then pausing and silently questioning everything. (so in other words just an average dev limes video) ok edit but you have to then slow it down and listen to it at normal tempo.
A RUclipsr named Bradley hall did this concept and called it a "speedrun challenge," even though his clock counted down, too. Might I suggest, in the true nature of speedruns, that you have a clock that counts up, and you try to complete the song in the shortest amount of time possible?
I think you should definitely do an hour for one of these types of videos, cuz it’s definitely funny to hear something come out really bad, but I think Its definitely be fun to hear something come out as close to the og as it can
try to replicate Stressed out by twenty one pilots but replicate it in reverse, and then reverse your finalized track to see how well it matches the original
I love this concept, the high stress is super fun but one way to maybe iron out the concept is to change the amount of time you give yourself based on how challenging the song is. Like for a more simple pop song 10 minutes, but for something longer and more elaborate you could do 20-30 minutes and sort of fluctuate it. But even still, i love this series idea and it gave me a lot of good laughs :)
Try a 4 minute song next and gradually lower the time until its listenable, then start increasing the difficulty with different songs until you're able to make Bohemian Rhapsody in 5 minutes
