Agreed… the OG 11s are unmatched. For me, a teen in the 90’s - IN CHICAGO - watching him demoralize the league in these, they’re perfect. The 3 was my first “favorite” shoe as a kid in the 80’s, but the Concord 11 was the first shoe I ever fell in love with (first pair I ever doubled up on, just to have one to admire)
11s hit differently. I was thinking about skipping these, due to personal financial goals, but damn, these are worth the sacrifice. Thanks for the review

Haven’t picked up any Retro 11’s in about 10 years - the way the prices have been going was going to pass on these too. Have to say much nicer in hand, was glad to get them. The simplicity really works well for different type outfits too (shorts/jeans/sweats). Worth it I think, even with the extra cost.

Went to my local finishline after work here in San Angelo Texas right around 11:30 went up the employer ask for the these shoes and they said they had plenty for some reason bought them on the spot I just had too!!

I completely agree with you guys on everything here. 11’s in an OG colorway are still some of my favorites, even though I end up wearing 1’s, 3’s & 4’s a lot more. I still wear my Concord’s & Space Jam’s from 2000 (after a full re-glue on each), and I will NEVER get rid of them.
@@CoachKev0731 I replaced the crumbled air unit with a Dr. Scholl’s type of insole and cut it fit. They used barge super stick glue and re-glued it back together. You have to make sure you remove the old glue completely, to get a good stick. I also iced out the soles to get them clear again. So besides the air unit, I was able to keep all the original parts of the shoe. It turned out really good. I was stoked on the results.
I think these are a perfect 10, I want to re-up on them but my 2014s still look great. The outsole changing a little but I think I’m cool on getting another pair 10/10🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I feel torn about this newer iteration with the higher cut patent, they just look fugazi with it. That said, I’ve gotten past it for the Concords and Breds and copped. So, guess it doesn’t matter but always feel I have to get it off my chest lol

Just hit on shock drop , took a L in my size 13 but was able to get a 12 surprisingly
