- One of the problems that many people have is that they cannot see. They make wrong assumptions about their own lives, why they have problems and about other people. They will then apply teaching to their problems without knowing the true cause of the problem, sometimes causing more harm than good.
There are two types of knowledge, from heaven and from man. To be able to discern correctly, with spiritual sight is a tremendous gift. When you meditate and believe in the Word of God, you can discern at a certain level simply according to the standard of God's Word for your own life. Some people lack discernment simply because they don’t believe or read the Word. Spiritual sight is seeing things from God’s perspective.
It’s a common mistake to focus on the problem, because the problem is of this world and spiritual discernment never comes from this world. Discernment comes from Heaven. It’s good to know what your job is, which is to obey Jesus the Master and to look to Him and not the problem.
God loves you, and may He bless your life as you follow Jesus

Yes, many of us make wrong assumptions. It is so important to see correctly. It is also important to seek His perfect will and to say “Thy way Lord, Thy will Lord, not mine.” “The laying on of the foot.” 😊. We should carry on even when we are not believed when we know the Lord is in it.

Question: I have a Christian family member who has a pattern of being critical, gossips, slanders me behind my back, and I confronted her and she refuses to repent and seek deliverance, because she's too proud to believe that she could ever need deliverance. If I've forgiven her, yet then I set boundaries and distance my relationship with her, does that mean I'm in sin? Does setting boundaries from a spiritually unhealthy person mean I have a grudge, even if I've forgiven her and I don't have a grudge? Does forgiveness require us to allow demonized people to remain in our relationships?

The Word tells us to not be unequally yoked. The demon in that person wants to steal your joy and confuse you. You've done what you can, just pray the Lord convicts them. I believe you're doing what's right for The Holy Spirit bu distancing yourself. We must guard out hearts. God bless you!
