+84hendrixnirvana eventually ur gonna create music that sounds like someone else's without even knowing you're doing it... especially playing power chords
Love when this pops up when I have people over and they ask who was that? That was awesome and then I tell them it’s nirvana? Light bulb comes on in thee head and I know they start exploring them more privately.
Damn, Mark played with Kurt then with Layne in '95. Can't imagine the sound if they'd make a Screaming Nirvana Season record if Kurt stuck around or make a song like Alice Mudgarden's Right Turn with all Seattle grunge bands forming together as one big group. Probably called Alice In Nirvana's Mudgarden 🤣
No one was ever saying Grunge wasn’t heavy. And those people who ever said too you don’t know a single thing about Grunge. If anyone says Grunge isn’t heavy they are disregarding Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, The Melvin’s, Mudhoney, etc.
Habituated Abnormality Dead and Bloated, and Sex Type Thing are great examples of how heavy they could get. It could be argued that their later sound with ‘Purple’ and ‘Vatican’ is more Pop Rocky, but you can’t deny that ‘Core’ has got some heavy cuts.
Bleach is basically 50 mins of them tuning compared to in utero, like Dave has said, some in utero tracks can be more intense or menacing than any dark metal record
Cool story, I had never heard until recently....I wonder why Mark Lanegan would have had respect for Kurt at this point though....Cobain's respect for Lanegan makes sense but Nirvana was an unknown band at this point and Kurt was probably sleeping on friend's couches...I love Nirvana but this song really shouldn't be on their album, it isn't them
Even from early on people could tell Kurt had immense talent. The lead singer of Dickless even noted that she was intimidated by Kurt (in awe, really), because he was so obviously gifted.
They were known before Nevermind's release. Just not as well as after it's release. Bleach was the album before Nevermind. And it's pretty heavy. This song should've been Bleach's opening because it would fit in with it's actual first song.
The riff reminds me of black sabbath!
Your right! :) Is a cool rift!
I agree I thought this was like a sample
84hendrixnirvana TOTALLY!!!

***** yeah man,everbody is influenced by somebody!👌
Probably the most bluesiest Nirvana song.
Love when this pops up when I have people over and they ask who was that? That was awesome and then I tell them it’s nirvana? Light bulb comes on in thee head and I know they start exploring them more privately.

I hate the word grunge, they were rock and roll
Recorded on my birthday!
Lead Belly was such a talented guy he influenced curt so much!
If you guys like this slow Sabbathy type stuff you might like Earth. Dylan Carlson's band. Or Sleep or Om
Or Melvins
now I know what life sounds like when living next to a pond filter

So simple yet so beautiful
What's that about Grunge not being heavy?
No one was ever saying Grunge wasn’t heavy. And those people who ever said too you don’t know a single thing about Grunge. If anyone says Grunge isn’t heavy they are disregarding Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, The Melvin’s, Mudhoney, etc.

Nobody ever said grunge wasn’t heavy, ever.
Who the fuck has ever said grunge wasnt heavy? Dumbass
there's a woman voice at 1:00
Bob Harley I hear it too, do you know what she is saying, I can't figure it out
I listened to this few more times and I noticed those are just remains of some song, most likely not even related to Nirvana
It’s most likely one of the amps picking up a radio frequency
Something "of laughter"
Bob Harley Tracy maybe
Dope shit
riff sounded like black sabbath
Black Sabbath sounds like old blues.
@Habituated Abnormality True story they all breed and bleed together intermingle and separate like water and oil.
It's not- check out Endless Nameless!
Lee Ray no
Lee Ray endless, namless he says mama in the verses
Dumb ass doesnt even know whats up

How dry I am...
How come nobody has took this beat?? and added lyrics to it and create one bad azzz song... 🤘 🎸
Good idea
On speed 0.75, sounds like some specially.
Can definitely hear the influence of Rumble by Link Wray in this song

Yes of course, still a nice, sloppy rendition of an instrumental- no less! Mama or not.
Nirvana - Iron Man
i hear a little slayer and sabbath in there. Paul Bostaph to be more precise
This song made me realize a lot about the many washed up people say like of my town..
Lord lord lord lord
Sabbath,Zep worship!?! Cool..,.
Does anyone hear some one singing in background around 1:05
yeah i did, i wish i would find anything about it
come as you grunge
It's not even grungey tho
at around 1:05 if you listen really carefully you can hear like a voice in the background, kinda sounds like something being reversed
Jason Everman ?
Meh, not too shabby but i agree with Jack Endino on what he thinks about this song.

They're all awesome
Bleach is basically 50 mins of them tuning compared to in utero, like Dave has said, some in utero tracks can be more intense or menacing than any dark metal record
@@Mhurlohcke In Utero is probably one of the best albums of all time. It's just something you need to grow into really if that makes any sense.
But is better to play music while singing 🎤
