Got my Deku in and the only problem I have is indeed swapping out the hands. They're attached waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too tight. Mine doesn't have the problem of coming apart when ab crunching like I've seen in other's reviews. Also you are wrong about his pouches, they do articulate, but only side to side. They're not just one solid piece. And for the price it depends on where you get him. I got mine for $48.
@@sonicrockmanx I did overlook the pouches..I assumed both of them on each side to have articulated at the same time but I found out that the individual pouches articulate.. To me they seemed to have been a solid piece..but I guess I assumed that just because it was a separate piece that it was solid..my mistake!! 😅 I did state I got him from ami ami..which was 46.23 usd..(i said 45 because it was a convenient number to say)but figuarts do sell out fast on import websites..so I was lucky to get him..but some people who aren't aware of import websites or couldn't get their hands on him before he sold out..often go to websites like big bad toy store or Amazon which ends up being around the 60$ price.. Can I ask does this Deku feel flimsy? and if u were able to to, how hard was it to swap the hands, I saw it looked quite hard and I saw a lot of people broke the hand peg, I want to buy this deku to do stop motions but I might hold out for a reissue if it’s too problematic, thanks for the review

I don't believe it's that flimsy but the quality of the plastic isn't up to par with certain shfiguarts releases due to the fact that the shf deku was made in factories in Vietnam.. Those factories tend to have issues such as quality control issues,lower quality plastic,and bad paint application.. For example people had alot of problems with the shfiguarts super saiyan trunks boy from the future due to some issues I listed and well that figure was made in Vietnam instead of usual shf figures that are made in china... The hands without any form of heat such as warm water not boiling!! or a hair dryer work to loosen the plastic abit and get around the tightness of joints. They were abit hard to take off..as shown in the video 😅.. I would recommend this deku so..its not too bad if your extra cautious..but if you want you could hold off and wait for a reissue since yeah he's most likely gonna get one once season 8 comes around..and well I think the aftermarket is a no go..🤔 I would recommend to pick this guy up if you can't wait for a reissue..he's up on big bad toy store and amazon. @@SmileJ-in3ntthank you so much I actually watched my hero academia just because I really thought this look for deku looks sick(and I actually really enjoyed the series), so I have really been anticipating this release,it seems both him and bakugo must’ve been made in the Vietnam factory since when they showed off bakugo in a vid his belt started flopping around when shaking it, I think I will take my chance with midoriya and watch a few more reviews and just be extra cautious when handling him and making any other orders in the mha line, if anything does happen, I just gotta hope and pray for a dark deku figure😅(I will say since I am getting the international release I have a month or 2 to decide wether I will actually take that chance 😅) thanks for responding to my comment 😄✌️, it’s much appreciated, u were so helpful I have give a sub
@@onestopman5843 this isn't really a mod but I would suggest to do the paper towl/tissue paper method in which you add a small piece of that onto the holes of both the diaphragm and waist..when you take them both out theres holes for the pegs and put a piece on there and it helps tighten the figure abit.. If not then I'd suggest Kiki joint tightener if it's very loose.. You can check other shf mods for those on youtube Hope this helps!!
