I upgraded from the Pixel 6 Pro to the Pixel 7 Pro. The phones smaller curved edges and extra screen width make the phone feel so much better in the hand. The speakers are better balanced this time around. Can't say much about battery life yet as I'm still tinkering with the phone. Feels the way the Pixel 6 Pro should have been from the start.
Nexus 6, 6p, 2xl, 4, 6pro and 7 pro with some one plus and Samsung in between as well. Hello brother

Aye I was on the pixel 2 xl as well. Such a good phone that served me well. Works fine even now. I couldn't justify buying any of the previous pixles. Thought it was best to just wait it out until there's so decent changes and upgrades. Why spend So much money on a phone only to toss it away and do it again a year or so later
@@spaghetti5038 For me it was mostly because of battery. It would only last me about 3hours before dying even with 50% brightness on screen. That plus no more security updates. Decided to upgrade mainly because of those reasons.

I've had the Nexus 1, 5, 6, Pixel 2xl, 4xl, 6 pro and now 7 pro with other iphones and galaxy phones up to the iphone 13 and s22 Ultra. Google has finally nailed it this year. Got the 7 pro, buds pro, and watch and I'm finally satisfied.

Change the resolution to QuadHD+ since its default to FHD+ I believe.
Correct. It comes with the resolution set to 1080 by default. Didn't even realize it until I noticed it in the settings.

Thanks for the video! Can you remove the date &/or move the Google search bar? I don't like it at the bottom and I want to use a widget for the date/time/weather.
Also...my home row is all blue icons, so using themed icons just means they'll be all the same - just in another colour. Is there any other way to change them?

I just got the 7 Pro this week and I am loving it. I had a Samsung phone before and a Samsung tablet. Is there any way to get your calls and texts on that tablet with the Pixel?
Waiting for mine to be delivered any minute. The pixel 6 pro was pretty great aside from random issues with data off wifi and sometimes unresponsiveness but I'm confident in the long game.
7 pro has been great. I had a data issue from time to time with the 6 and it would basically get stuck buffering videos. Got a white 7 pro with a clear case and it looks great too

Thanks for the vid. Question about the punch hole. When watching videos, can you reduce video so it's black bars instead of a dead pixel hole in the video? I have old school phone right now. Seems everyone shows the videos expanded to the edge. No idea if squared corners are possible with black bars on either side. Thanks.
Depends on the video resolution. 1080p video like youtube will have black bars so the punch hole is in a black bar. I usually zoom the video to fit width of the phone, thus cutting a little off the top and bottom. Punch hole is visible in the video.

I have been using samsung so now in pro 7 where is that we download our pictures and songs like in samsung we could upload songs and videos in audio folder and photos in gallary directly

Upgraded to the Pixel Pro 7 from Note 10 plus. How do I watch videos in full screen mode? Most I can’t watch in full screen mode and this is bothering me. I can’t watch tv on RUclips tv without big bezels showing and I can’t widen the screen. I can on regular RUclips but not on my other video apps.

First thing I did was to get rid of that double line time then call Google support as to why there is no am/pm.
I'm still rocking three button life, as a small phone single hand user gestures are aweful imo. Then again I've never spent more than 15 minutes getting use to them lol
I saw some random guy's comment on Reddit. He said that it is better to register your fingerprint in a completely dark room (since the fingerprint sensor is optical). That way, your fingerprint sensor will fail less often. Can someone please confirm?
I think there's a bug ...if you use 3 button navigation you can't change the app grid. I had to change to gesture navigation to get the app grid option.

Day 1 not so great 😅 about 4 hours SOT but battery has to adapt over time
I had to turn off amber alerts because with working at home and running to the gym, I practically spend no time on the road most days. Yet the amber alerts will go off for me on cars 15+ miles away often at inopportune times early in the morning or during a nap, call, while working on something with my hands, etc.
If I could customize the range of it to be just a few miles, I'd keep it on.
Damn. Where do you live? I rarely get amber alerts. A lot of kidnappings in your town?
@@darkeyezs I live in Atlanta. I think it being a city alone makes these much more prevalent just because there's more people within the alerting area of any given amber alert.
@@harshil102 Hmm. I live outside Chicago and rarely get them. And Chicago is a lot bigger than Atlanta. I do on occasion get them so I know it I don't have it turned off. I'll be sure to keep my kids on an actual leash should we visit Atlanta. LoL

How to remove that 'back to home screen' line whilst watching netflix etc?
Grid won't show up if you have a 3rd party launcher enabled/installed like nova launcher or lawnchair

Nope, the dimensions are slightly different, and the power/volume buttons are lower

A comment I read above said if the 3- button navigation is selected you can’t change the app grid, if you indeed have it selected. You have to deselect it first then change the grid.
Best phone I ever owned. I bought the s23 ultra I thought it was cool but way to much money. This is like almost the exact same phone just better lol
I on apple eco system and i been tell as many android use to switch to RCS becuse this Chrismas ask for money to buy me a samsung tablet S8+ get the item i want then when i switch my iphone 11 to android s22 plus or ultra or google pixel 7 and i found a like AirPods (soundpeat) i will still keep my macbook M1 most of the stuff that i use is google stuff to me safari is way to slow and i am look for gaming laptop(PC) but the one thing i don’t like about window is how slow they update vs MacBook pro M1 i do dell laptop and take like a whole day to update or hour just to turn it on.

Blackberry Passport has much better speakers

The fingerprint scanner is 100% accurate when compared to pixel 6pro,just works. The screen seems brighter too.
Fingerprint scanner is on point. Face unlock doesn't work in low light like it does on the 4xl. 4xl works in the dark with only a TV on but not the 7 pro. Which is fine because as you said the fp scanner is great.

@@darkeyezs one thing annoyed me is that the scrolling isn't fast, it is smooth ,but not fast
@@CG-ql5rr 4xl has Soli Radar. Serves for motion gestures and for face unlock. I haven't noticed any scrolling issues. But I'll keep an eye out.
@@darkeyezs no issues with scrolling,but for example if you want to scroll a webpage fast ,it won't scroll that fast to reach the bottom
