    I’m actually impressed by how well Rannazzisi is handling the conversation. It’s such an uncomfortable and humiliating situation he put himself in, and he’s dealing pretty well with Howard talking about it to his face. I think most people would just wanna disappear forever after doing something like that.

But watching this interview, he's just a person that had/has deep social anxiety / emotional issues - like all of us. But his manifested in a strange way. He seems very honest here and trying to become a whole person. Be honest with me you live for this and the bickering between people an the comments its empowering to think you have smashed someone right>? I bet you came back many times an edited the comment checking it over an over saying how dare he contest me an what i think. So what do you think should happen after all of this should he have his bank account stripped an then ran out of town or should we stone him>? I mean like you said he lied for personal gain and then had many chances to come clean yet ignored them an kept the lie going for many years.

    Such a bizarre thing to lie about. Everyone old enough to remember, knows exactly where they were that moment the twin towers were attacked. I was stuck in Las Vegas. I watched the towers fall on a crummy tv from our ruddy room at the Fitzgerald. I remember meeting a sweet older couple in the elevator that morning who told me they we’re anxiously waiting for their son to reach them since he worked in tower 1 on like the 100th floor. I think about that couple over the years wondering if their son made it out safely. They eventually rented a car to make the 2,000 mile drive back to NY in the hopes they would be reunited with their son 😢.

      Idk. I think he should have just finished his sentence: "I was scared". Saying he didn't know how to tell the public is probably what he told himself as an excuse to avoid having to face the consequences of his actions. And like anyone else, he avoided it because he was afraid.

    i hate hearing him say over and over this is not him and not what defines him. But it is him because he DID do this. He had no problem going public and bragging about what a hero he was, but couldn't figure out how to come clean in public....until he got caught? He is a horrible person and I'm sure he wants to "move on" but he told this lie for a long time and he doesn't get to decide it's not an issue anymore. I wasn't in NYC on 9/11 but I was in OKC on 4/19/95 at 9AM and this guy is like a one of those yahoos who walk around in uniform stealing valor from our honorable military veterans. I think Stern was very fair and appropriate in the way he did the interview.

    • @BeenPWNED
      @BeenPWNED 9 лет назад +1

      jim jones
      Clearly I meant it as if they were to do it seriously, in which Sirius wouldn't even be a problem-- as well as the "dollar per thousand view" (where ever you heard that)... they would obviously get the best possible ad revenue which they don't currently have, evidently...
      (Basing the first part off of Howard quoting live that he doesn't care if he gets fired/something happens to his contract, even encouraging it-- about two weeks ago.)

    • @jimjones2287
      @jimjones2287 9 лет назад

      BeenPWNED It's just a stupid idea to start from scratch on youtube, and make a much smaller salary. There are several big youtubers that have stated their salary, and around how much they make per video after taxes. Even if Howard becomes the biggest channel on youtube he wouldn't make as much as he has been at Sirius.

And at least he immediately came clean about it, and never tried to deny the accusations, unlike stolen valor guys who try to keep the lie going even after being caught.
