@@MarcLebone Makes it easy to transpose too. My daughters guitar is in the lower tuning of e-B-E so I just add the half steps E is from G to the numbers which E is 3 half steps or frets away so 5 becomes 8, 7 becomes 10. So 8, 8, 8, 10 8 10 and 10 10 10. I never did learn to transpose by note names I always just reduced it to numbers which I could add or subtract in my head on seconds.
Sounds so nice for being so simple. On an open G tuned CBG the C is 5 5 5, G used is 7 5 7, D is 7 7 7 for us number folks 👍
