According to the original story, the ring was tossed out of the attic window by the bride, Pricella, who was supposed to be married, but the groom changed his mind and told her the day of the wedding. A carriage carrying the groom raced away from the mansion and ran over the ring, driving it into the ground. The horse was spooked and flipped the carriage, killing the groom. And that there is one of the first tellings of the story of the ring. (I love that story) 😊

Last year, my first time attending Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween party which was the WORST, I rode 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 for the first time with my mom since my friend rode it more than a thousand times, and now this year, just last month when I went to the Halloween party for the second time, which was great btw, my mom and I rode it the SECOND time, but this time with my dad, the first timer! I liked it, I just hate it when it breaks down. The first time I rode it, it broke down only once during Madame Leota’s séance, and then, the second time, it broke down not once, but twice! The first breakdown was with Madame Leota again like last year, but the second breakdown was when my folks and I were just entering the attic, THAT was creepy for me, and even gave me a mini panic attack! 😥
Ugh! I had a bad experience with this ride. I went on it a few days ago and we just kept getting delayed. It happened a total of 4 times, and each for about 5 minutes or so.
I LOVE ‘It’s a Small World’, it was the very first ride I rode as a child the first time I went to Disney World, and I still love it to this day!!! My mom and I still sing that song too to this day! 😁

Most kids today don’t appreciate the artistry of The Haunted Mansion and find it slow and boring. Same for Pirates. They much prefer thrill rides like Space Mountain or Tower of Terror. Sad.

Why are the staff at this ride mourning for Master Gracey? His tombstone clearly states “No mourning, please, at his request”.
