Here is my Backstory for Cranberry: Cranberry is very energetic. She wears four bracelets constantly. This is because when she was a young dragonet, she was enchanted to not be able to talk. Her friend Brisk is an animus and he helped her be able to talk. Her best friend is Kinkajou. She met her when she went to the rainforest to get fruit and since then they have been besties.
Love all of the dragons! I think that Brisk's mother is a SeaWing, as that is the dominant part of the hybrid, so he probably grew up in the sea just outside the Ice Kingdom, where it was perfect for him. His father would live in a small seaside IceWing town, sneaking away to visit. His mother stayed in slightly warmer waters than him. He lived in an area between the two dragons, arranging above-ground meetings for the family. He only came out when he heard that his father got affected by the plague that Darkstalker sent out to the IceWings, to search for the cause. His father just barely got an earring from his mother and him in time. Also, I think that maybe Moth's scars were caused by Burn. She could have been trapped by Burn, to be put in the Weirdling tower, but escaped with only some scars. She then hid in the outskirts of the rainforest, away from dragon's view. Love your videos! Imma do a backstory for Brisk. Brisk was the dragonet of two dragons, named Husky and Jade. He hatched around 3 years after the dragonets of destiny. He grew up in the Sea kingdom with his mother. He didn’t really get along with the other SeaWing dragonets, since he lacked some of the scales to communicate. His only friend was a small dragonet named Olive. Every now and then, his mother would send to go live with his father on the outskirts of the Ice kingdom. Since his mother was a full SeaWing, she would only fly with him to the border of Sand kingdom and Ice kingdom. He liked the Ice kingdom much more than the Sea kingdom. Although he missed Olive, he had many more friends in the Ice kingdom. There, he didn’t lack anything to communicate with the others. He could talk with others, and have more friends. He wasn’t the social outcast. He didn’t really like his father much though. His father didn’t even know he existed until Brisk was around two years old. He never really cared for the dragonet. On one particular day, he ran into a small IceWing dragonets sitting near the great ice cliff. The dragonets name was Quartz. The dragonet was just sitting there and crying. “What’s wrong?” Brisk asked the dragonet. “My brother. A SeaWing killed him,” cried the dragonet. “What do you mean?” Brisk asked the dragonet. “I mean that my brother was killed,” the dragonet said bluntly “I have this bracelet from him, it’s my most prized possession,”. “Do you want me to enchant it?” Brisk asked. Brisk hadn’t told anyone this before, but he was an animus. But this dragon was different. “What do you mean? Are you an animus?” asked the dragonet. “Yep, I’m an animus,” Brisk said to the dragonet, smiling. Brisk thought something was different. He had never felt this way about a dragon before. The way her smile made him feel was different than any other dragon. “What kind of spell do you want me to put on it?” Brisk asked. Idk what else to do with the backstory. I love the idea of him an animas. Ohh then the earring CAN be enchanted! it can have the enchantment of any hybrid who wears the earring has the ability to breath under water, and maby he can't
Most NightWing/SilkWings I see are nothing more than black SilkWings, but Moth is a clear and very beautiful exception. I love how you based he off that picture of a moth, and the colors really pop! In fact, I don't think I've ever seen any NightWing/SilkWings with red scales. You're so unique and creative!
I have a backstory for each of them....... Brisk: His mom was a seawing his father was an icewing in the first circle, before queen snowfall was queen. He grew up alone because his mother abandoned him when he was 2, and his father didn't know his seawing mate had a dragonet. he lived on his own and was taken in by the icewings. He still didn't know who his father was, and wanted to find out. So he and his only friend Sleet asked every icewing if they'd heard of a icewing in the first circle mate a seawing. And Brisk eventually found his father, Walrus. Cranberry:[ My personal fav ] She maybe lost her home and was forced to leave with her mom, a mudwing, her father was killed because of his relationship with her mom. Her mom mated with another mudwing and got a brother, not multiple eggs like a normal mudwing. her brother was Bog. She hoped for a friend that would like her for who she is, not because of what she looks like. Moth: She was born on the battlefield, her father fighting a group of Hivewings who still wanted Wasp to be their Queen. She was captured and forced to fight for the hivewings. She met her mother on the battlefield from faint memory and lived happily ever after. I love your videos! and the dragons you draw. These are amazing! I'm thinking for Brisk, maybe he was born under the sea, but never wanted to go up to the warm, sunny, icky, surface. Brisk retreated into the depths, reading Queen Corals scrolls and never speaking to anyone. As the years passed, however, Brisk soon became tired of living in solitude, and decided to risk a trip to the surface during moonlight. He popped his head above the waves, breathing in fresh air for the first time in his life. *what have I been missing?* he thought, gills flaring happily. He walked ashore and shivered, spreading his wings and flapping experimentaly to shake off the water. "Is this...the Ice Kingdom? Hmm, when did I read about this?" The SeaWing-IceWing hybrid rasped. Feel free to continue this, it's just a thought
Dude I LOVE Moth! She was the cutest of them all! I love Cranberry, because her name made SO much sense. Brisk, the only guy, was adorable.I love that he was more sea dominate, because he could live in the ice shores. I love your ides, Pebble! ^^

For some reason mud/leaf is so intriguing to me. Some other possible names/looks for the mix could be: Cypress, Moss, Duckweed, Algae, Lilypad, Lotus, Mildew, Black Mold (great for poisonwing), Palmetto. Even the canon names of Cattail and Reed could be hybrids.. possibly.

I'm a BIG fan of yours, Pebble! I also draw dragon hybrids but not digitally, on paper. I also write fan fics of WoF, but anyway, I got a backstory idea for Brisk, soooo here it is: Brisk was born in the Ice Kingdom near the freezing water, but his mother, a SeaWing, sometimes brought him over to visit the Sea Kingdom, which was much warmer. Brisk didn't like the warmer water, and usually didn't visit Sea Star, his mother. He only had 1 friend, a Sea/NightWing, named Abyss. Abyss also was missing some flashing scales, and she was a dark blue color, but she lived in the SeaWing village. One day, Brisk met Queen Coral, and loved her writing. He then promised himself to become a famous writer, just like Queen Coral. When he started writing, a rush of words would flow out of him, and he finally finished his first scroll. But Queen Coral saw his writing, and was so surprised about it, that she sent him to a special writing school. Brisk didn't like it much since a lot of the SeaWings picked on him because he was half IceWing. He soon begged the queen to pull him out, and Coral finally agreed. She spent several weeks trying to find the perfect school for him, but then, she had an idea! Queen Coral sent Brisk to Jade Mountain, and he was able to make more friends with hybrids. This is cranberry’s story. The night she hatched she didn’t get to see her mother who was a leafwing, her mother got a slash to the neck by burn who didn’t careless. The first thing she saw was a small seawing dragonet. As each of then got older they became friends, cranberry kept the secret of her mother to her self and didn’t tell anybody. One day they were out on a fight and they spotted a old mudwing they landed and had a look around, they started to talk to the mudwing. As they were listening he stopped and stared at cranberry. “ my daughter she’s home!” Cranberry and the seawing looked at each other puzzled then they turned back to the mudwing “ I thought you said you never had family” yelled the seawing “well my mum died when I hatched” cranberry said Shyly. Soon the mudwing explained him self. After a while they got what he was saying. Two years later. Cranberry was happy and proud of herself and not afraid to tell anybody the secret. Sadly she died of the seawings mother who drowned her. She lived a happy life 😭😭😅😅

Love the dragons! I wanted to do Cranberry's backstory, Cranberry's mother was a mudwing, and father was a leafwing, her mother had gone to Pantala to scout, see ended up in the poison jungle and found her father, it was love at first sight, the lived in a small home but were living well. After a few years they had 2 dragonets, Cranberry and Fall. They had both been very kind and were close. Soon Fall and Cranberry went to school. That is where it ends for now. I hope you like it :)

Mk Moth! I have a pretty good idea for moth. So a silkwing and a night wing met in Possibility after- the stuff happened and the silkwing (mother) instantly fell in love with the Clearsight looking dragon, they ended up talking and hanging out then eventually had eggs, Moth originally had a sibling but.. their eggs were attacked by jealous hivewings, they assumed that the children would have Clearsights abilities and didn’t want dragonets to be so powerful, so they attempted to destroy both eggs and only destroyed one. Moth was luckily saved by her father and her parents became extremely protective over her. They kept her home longer then most dragonets and sent her to Jade Mountain Academy to be in school when Moth was 3. She made friends with a lot of the other dragons but was very paranoid around hivewings, she ended up being so terrified of the hivewings her parents had to take her out of school because she would dread every minute of her day thinking the hivewings would attack her at any moment, she learned to like the hivewings and still felt jumpy around them but now Moth is much calmer around other dragons. She will always be traumatized but appreciates hivewings more then before. THE END!! Also, I WOULD LOVE A PART THREE! I think that this series is SO FUN and I just CANT WAIT for the next episode, but it’s ok to take your time since drawing takes a while (but they are indeed *CHEFS KISS* masterpieces!!!)
I have a backstory for Moth’s sibling, who I’ll call termite. After being captured by hivewings, termite’s egg wasn’t destroyed, but instead, they let her hatch… and then horribly mutilated her. She used to have flamesilk but the silk glands were not so surgically removed, along with her eyes. She still had the antennae though. After the mutilation, she was left to die at the mouth of the snarling river, but the currents dragged her to the ice kingdom. The icewings thought that she was dead, but she walked onto the shore (likely terrifying the icewings). After that incident, she was sent to snowfall, who decided to entrust lynx with termite. She grew up among icewings and became friends with mink. After 6 years, when she went into her cocoon, the icewings decided to bring her back to her parents, but they didn’t know who, so they decided to look on pantala. After a while, they found the mutilators (in jail obviously). They asked for termite’s parents and they said that they were in possibility. After 6 years, termite was finally reunited with her family.

For brisk his earing is enchanted, but the enchantment gives him chicken nuggets whenever he is hungry. Why? Because when brisk was younger his friend would never give him chicken nuggets for being a hybrid so brisk asked an animus to enchant a block of ice he found than made it into an earing. I'm not doing anything else for the backstory, just when I saw brisk I knew what to do immediately.
Brisk: When he was a drago-net, he talked a LOT and never stopped. His family and friends were very annoyed by all his talking. One day, his older sister Seal yelled at him saying: “FOR ONCE CAN YOU BE QUIET OR IS THAT TOO HARD FOR YOU?!” Ever since then Brisk has been traumatized to speak too much, so over the years he has become reserved and quiet. He never usually speaks to anyone that often. Cranberry: She grew up a joyful life with many siblings who loved her very much. She was the second-oldest of her group and took great care of her younger siblings. But one day, her oldest brother (the big-wings), tried to fight off a dragon who tried to hurt his family. He was killed and Cranberry was left to take care of her younger siblings by herself. She went into deep depression, but soon learned depression is a waste and decided to be a happier dragon. She now lives a joyful life and visits her siblings often. Moth: Moth is quite the fierce dragon. She used to fight in the War of SandWing Succession but got some of her wing torn, and many scars. She decided to retire early because she needed to tend to her wounds. She found a NightWing who is a loyal healer and soon found out they fought in the war too. Moth still is a fierce dragon when protective, but is more loving and kind around friends and family. (I’m so sorry if this is long 🥲. These are my opinions on their stories, you’re welcome to make your own :])

Brisk is a dragon from possiblity. His mother is a seawing and his father is an icewing. He lives a normal life as a sales man and is close with some other interesting hybrids.
I think Brisk’s mother was the SeaWing and they had planned a meet up when he was still an egg but they were found out and his father was killed leaving his mother to abandon the egg and run, meaning that some kind IceWings found and took his egg in as their own, growing up having low rankings in the circles and eventually being banished for supposed “betrayal” and then finding his mother in the Sea Kingdom and living with her. That’s basically it, I hoped you enjoyed this backstory, bye!
I feel like I’m better at backstories than drawing- but here’s an idea for Brisk’s backstory: His mother is a secret animus that skipped the talons of power ceremony like turtle did (giving animus to someone else) and she enchanted Brisk’s earring so that he could be animus an not loose a soul. His mother, Axolotl, escaped and went to the IceWing kingdom where she met Frost and they had a dragonet. Brisk lives in the sea in the icewing territory.

(Sorry if this backstory is bad, I was just kind of going with what I felt) ^Brisk's Backstory^ It began when an IceWing named Snowball met with a SeaWing named Atlantic, Snowball left the ice to be with Atlantic. They ended up having a lovely son named brisk, which held both of their attributes. Tragically, the other egg was broken when it got smacked into a rock by a frantically running animal. Brisk wasn't very good at hunting, or gathering, but he did enjoy the ocean that him and his family lived next to. When he was still a dragonet, both his parents got killed by a group of SeaWings who wanted to stay there after they were forced out of the SeaWing kingdom. Brisk ended up devoting himself to learning to fight and getting justice for his parent's deaths. Brisk ended up killing the SeaWings, leaving alive their three dragonets, since they left him alive. He became dull after having nothing else he sought out to do and lives out his days by the very beachside he hatched at. (Snowball is the father and Atlantic is the mother.)

I have backstories for Brisk and Moth. I will do Brisk first. Brisk’s mother and father fell in love when they met in battle. They had two eggs and had already planned their names. Brisk and Sapphire would be their names and their mother and father, Current and Seal, were still deciding who they should stay with since their relationship was a secret. When they decide the story would be that they had found them in the snow or on the beach and brought them back. When it was hatching day only Brisk’s egg hatched. The other didn’t make it. His mother was devastated but his dad didn’t seem that sad but Brisk could tell he was crying inside. A year later they had decided Brisk would be going to the ice kingdom even though Current didn’t seem that sure. They left a week later. Brisk was now older and he had no friends. They would give him odd looks and whisper to each other behind his back. Mostly because he doesn’t have Icebearth and sometimes even gets cold. Even the royal family seemed not to like him! He was in the bottom of the ranks and no one seemed to think he’d ever go any farther. One day he had had enough and wanted to go live with his mother in the sea kingdom. When he finally made it he had no idea where he was supposed to go sense he was new. When he was swimming he crashed into a SeaWing when he wasn’t looking. The SeaWing seemed angry and was eyeing Brisk down. The SeaWing was a dark dull green and had patterns on his wings. The SeaWing grabbed him. Brisk struggled to escape from him, the SeaWing’s grip was strong. Soon he was somewhere he didn’t know and was met with many other SeaWings. That night was a blur but soon he met up with his mom and was overjoyed. He learned aquatic even though his light up scales didn’t flash that bright. He lived there for the rest of his life and found himself a wife named Seastar. Brisk never knew what happened to his father but all he knew is that he didn’t want to see him ever again because of how unsupportive he was. He was now happy When Moth was a dragonet she was very happy. She lived with her mom and her dad lived in Pantala. Moth only met him once in her life and was angry she hadn’t met him ever again. Moth was a happy dragonet but now she wasn’t. Wars had happened that she wished she wasn’t a part of. She now lived alone. When she was 3 years old unknown dragons had attacked the NightWing village. Moth guessed they were all hybrids. A bunch of them. She remembered it as if it was yesterday. She was frightened, scared, didn’t know where she was while war happened around her. She had tried to fight back then but now she saw that it was foolish of her. It did her no good. She was injured for live now. Her flying wasn’t the best because of the bottom being torn off. When that fight had happened many dragons died. She was dragon napped and barely escaped. She tried to reach out to her father but he never came around. She had loved her old village, she had many friends and would always play with them. Now she know she would never go back. The memories would be too much for her. Now she travels alone. Thanks for making this video! It was amazing how the drawing came out! It was so fun writing the backstories! I couldn’t think of anything else for Moth. I’m sorry for the long story for Brisk! I had so much of a Backstory for him.
I was thinking for brisk's backstory he could have not been wanted by the seawings or icewings, and was kind of always bullied so he's like a mega introvert and lives on his own and is very socially awkward. he might live in sanctuary and be friends with winter, since they're pretty similar. idk this is just an idea I hope you like it
Brisk: Maybe one of queen coral’s sons that got some recessive traits of an icewing and he, like many/all of his brothers, he’s been neglected So that why he chilly

Ok I really love all of the dragons, but I'm not very good at back stories. And when you were finishing Moth I came up with one. So her parents were like warriors and they fought in lots of battles. But one day Moth wanted to be like her parents so she ran off. She found a battle that was still being fought and so she joined in. Everything was going good but suddenly an icewing leaped on her and ripped her wing. The battle was 4 weeks long and it finally ended. Moth's parents were so worried about her but when she came home her parents were dead. There stood an icewing, the same one that had attacked her. He had killed her parents in revenge of burning him. She had pushed him into the fire and he somehow survived. Since her dad was a nightwing, all of his nightwing friends heard the news about him and came to kill the icewing. And they did. They also decided to take Moth and train her to be a better fighter and more secretive/quiet. They succeeded in doing this and she is now a strong warrior. backstorys sorry if i get some of these things wrong, i haven't read flames of hope. Brisk Brisk's parents met in the events of the dangerous gift. Brisks father was one of the guards that went with Queen Snowfall to Sanctuary. he met a Seawing named Atlanta who became Brisk's mother. Cryo: Brisk's dad, moved to Sanctuary after the events of the dangerous gift. Brisk was the eldest out of three dragnets. there was him, Mist, an Icewing dominant and Aqua, his only sister which is a Seawing dominant. Brisk was four, Mist was three and Aqua was barely a year old. Brisk was offered to be a student in jade mountain academy. of courses he accepted. he always took an opportunity to learn. he ended up leaving but missed his family. he only had one friend which he wasn't even sure he would count as one: Stonemover. Every lunch Brisk sat with him and read some books quietly to himself and chatted to Stonemover. one day when Brisk was in history class a Skywing Icewing hybrid ran into the school. Brisk recognized him as Hail from Sanctuary. what was he doing here? "SA--- SANCTU---" he was out of breath. Brisk walked up to him "whats wrong? why are you here?" Sa-- Sanctua-- Sanctuary is gone... its gone,I--- Im the last one" he barely whispered. "no..." Brisk stepped back. "no... no! no!... everyone? are you sure?" "Yes" Brisks family-- his parents-- his siblings-- gone. if he was there he could have saved them. "who did it" He whispered. "pardon" "i said, who did it!" "i dont know, some Mudwings they---" "were they wearing chains?" a Mudwing asked. Hail nodded. the Mudwing gasped "the cranes" she whispered. "what did you say?" Brisk asked. "the cranes. they were Queen cranes most loyal soldiers and were kicked out of the mud kingdom after her death because of all the horrible things they did when she was alive. now they've become a group of pillagers" "there still alive?" "No it's probably there great great great great great great grandchildren or something." "Dont worry, Ill make sure they suffer" he whispered as he turned to a different cave fueled with anger. they're dead. killed so brutally. they needed to die, the cranes need to suffer ten times what his family had. Theres only one person that could kill them and make them suffer like how he had planned. "Stonemover! I need you help" "why... i dont see how i could but... why?" "i need a spell, i need you to kill the cranes." "huh? you now i cant do that ill---" he looked up and saw the tears in Brisks eyes. "i--- you--- ... fine" he said hesitantly. "get me a knife" Brisk ran to the kitchen and grabbed the sharpest knife he could find then told Stonemover how to word the spell. "I enchant this knife to kill all of the cranes and make them suffer ten times as much as Brisk family had..." the knife lifted up in the air turned toward the door the sped past Brisk. Stonemover smiled, then chuckled, then laughed as hard as he could then said "I enchant my scales to return to the way they were before i put the spell on them, and I enchant jade mountain to collapse on everyone inside"

For the mud/leaf hybrid I would say her mother got lost on her way to the rainforest and ended up in the mud kingdom. She then found a dragon that was brown like the dirt and fell in love with her and had the mud/leaf egg
Cranberry could have grown up in the mud kingdom, and some would have shunned her because she had weird shaped wings and as she grew up she noticed that she could hear plants speaking to her
I think that Brisk's mother is a IceWing. And the father is a SeaWing. I think that Brisk grew up half in the SeaWing palace and half in the IceWing palace. I also think that Cranberry didn't grow up in the Mud kingdom and she grew up in the Poison Jungle. And I think that Moth grew up in the NIghtWing kingdom, but after the volcano eruption, him and his mother, a NightWing named Eyecatcher, and his father died trying to fight a very agresive SeaWing that eventuly died of starvation.
Gah I didn't see this yesterday. I adore Cranberry and her design. I also don't see anyone making a backstory for her, so I'm going to do that now. I just really like her and the way she looks. Long after the events of all the books, a Leafwing, against his mother's wishes, traveled away from the rainforest and found himself in a swamp. All the plants had such interesting things to say. Her mother spotted him from across the swamp and snuck up behind him, as she enjoyed scaring the newcomers. They fell in love and had three eggs, but the mudwing mother's sibs resented the leafwing father. So one day they crushed two of the eggs and killed the father, hiding them in the mud in which they lived. They told the mother that the leafwing had stolen the two eggs and run away. Cranberry was named after the berries that her father had so loved, and was raised blissfully unaware of what had happened to her father and unfortunate siblings. She favored her plants as friends over the dragonets around her, and eventually drifted away from the social life of a normal mudwing. Her mother didn't want her anymore, and allowed her the wandering life that Cranberry had chosen for herself. And one day she left, with the four green bracelets that her mother had given her. She loved the world around her and saw good in all dragons. She always traveled, never staying in one place for long. She's happy with her life, and happy for the plants and people who have been kind to her. Anyway thanks for reading this massive brick of text lol

Cranberry Cranberry was different than the other Leafwings, she knew it from the beginning. Instead of green wings, she had red ones, and her leafspeak could only be used on swamp plants. Growing up in the poison jungle, Cranberry didn’t have many friends. After all, who would want to be friends with somebody like her? She was weird, and quiet. But she didn’t know she was a hybrid. Atleast, not until she had to evacuate to Phyrria when the Breath of Evil was burned, and took over her mother. She flew and flew until a coastline was visible in the distance. After a few hours, they had to keep moving, as they had landed in the ice kingdom. After more flying, they arrived in a town called possibility. There she met a mud wing who- ACK GTG FINISH THIS FOR ME OR SOMETHING
brisk wasnt very social as a dragonet, his odd looks coming off as threatening to the other dragonets. he grew up in the seawing civilization, and didnt know he was a hybrid until he was an adult. this is all i can come up with rn
Can you try experimenting with like doing a whole family of dragons instead of just individuals? Like focus on one dragon and then draw their parents and other family members? It would be so cool to do a family tree for a dragon!
Moth: Moth's mother was a silkwing and her father was a nightwing. She had no idea how her father met her mother, but she knew that they loved each other. When she was 3 her parents had another egg. It was a male and named Sier. She grew up happily, far away from the nightwing and silkwing kingdom. She had only one friend, Cranberry, her adopted sister, who was a year younger than her. They were always playing together, sometimes with Sier. Well, one day, when Moth was 9 Burn's soilders raided her home. Her mother, father, brother, and adopted sister escaped, but Moth wasn't fast anough. She was caught and put in Burn's Tower, because she looked odd. She eventually escaped but got many scares while doing it. She reunited with Cranberry and Sier, discuvering that they had been looking for her while she had been captured. Moth lived a happy life, but was always very cautious. P. S. I haven't read all the wof books yet so there will probably be holes.
Some people ask me all the time, “if you were a wings of fire hybrid, what would you be?” And I usually respond with a rainwing nightwing hybrid, and not just because it looks cool but because I think it matches my personality. I’m very smart, but also really freaking lazy.

Ik I’m way late but ima make a backstory for cranberry bc I can. Cranberry grew up in the poison jungle. Her parents never had time for her really because they were fighting a friggen war and she had to try not to get eaten without any teaching. She had decided she’d try to help as many dragons and dragonets as she could giving them things their parents couldn’t. So yeah- short brief but idk
someone should make a backstory about brisk that includes that he was the first seawing animus and the one who brought animus magic to the tribe! I think that might be interesting!
STORY FOR MOTH: She was born and after she was hatched her mother was like ‘oh no!!!!’ {her words exactly.} So she tried to kill her {that’s why she got her scars because her mom went for wings so she couldn’t fly away, and her leg so no running away and her neck for to make her yeet out of the world for blood loss or loss of needed internal stuff idk} BUT Moth escaped and found her dad who was in the scorpion den and they grow and like a teacher/mentor relationship then they learn that their related!!! WOW
Here’s all of them together Brisk He’s a mommas boy he never really knew is dad and loved helping mom with everything she needed. His mom was a strong independent ice wing named Polar she met Brisk’s dad on a trading journey they hit it off immediately then one day the sea wing disappeared Brisk always wanted to know his dad but polar never told him anything in order to “protect him” she said. Brisk and his mom were frowned upon by other ice wings because of Brisk’s scale pattern one day Brisk got sick of the neighbors scolds and the highty tighty community that he thought he might go hunting in the water. He found this much easier as his webs helped him underwater than snag on ice and rocks. He hadn’t realized how far he had chased the school of fish when in the distance he could see islands swimming over to them he realized he had swam all the way to the island palace ruins so far away from home. He decided to look around. The only thing he did know about his dad was that he was a seawing named Clam. He looked around to see if he could find another sea wing and it didn’t take long to see two sea wings fighting with animus magic it was so scary and cool the dragonets looked to be almost a year older than him. Curious he was joking around and told the shells around him to stack in a pile. To his surprise it worked meaning he was an animus! Excited he decided to keep it a secret. When the fight was over he went to the green one and asked if he knew any seawing by the name of clam(obviously this wasn’t in the book but just pretend ok?) and the green one answered ya that’s my oldest brother. Excited Brisk said so your my uncle that’s so cool. Turtle looked at brisk in shock. That means your apart of the roal ice wing family Turtle said. Brisk’s jaw dropped to the ground and he immediately assumed a royal like position as a dangerous individual. When he got home he continued copying Royal icewing postures and expressions and tried to learn the sea wing aquatic languages but it was difficult to speak the full language because he was missing some of the scales used to communicate. One day he was frustrated at home and every time his mom asked him to do chores he went nuts once he yelled while trying to Learn aquatic and said “stupid scales just have all the seawing marks!!” and the did. This would surely show the icewings that Brisk was part of the tribe. He announced his magic to the queen and they all rejoiced. He stopped going back a forth to icewings sea wings and Brisk stayed in the ice kingdom. When the plague started killing icewings his mother was one of the unlucky ones he became closed off after losing his mom and he enchanted his mothers earrings to protect him from all animus magic and he never takes them off to stay safe and keep her with him forever. Cranberry Cranberries mom is a mud wing named Mudcat. Cranberry was the youngest of her sibs. Cranberry’s dad was a leaf wing one of the few to escape the other mind, his name is Snakeroot. He saw a bunch of dragons leaving while scouting out one of the further areas and trailed them from behind careful to stay hidden. If there was an evacuation group he was going to be apart of it. At one point he lost the group and started flying in the same general direction he thought they were headed. Eventually after a very long and tiring flight he found land and rested for a long time. Mudcat and her sibs spotted him on patrol by the mud kingdom border. When he woke up they both went into fighting positions and explained that they came in peace. Snakeroot joined Mudcat and her sibs and they had dragonets changing the mud wing culture slightly Snakeroot wanted to be apart of their lives he and Mudcat named their dragonets. When the dragonets hatched Snakeroot was surprised that the first one started to claw and chew on the other ones but Mudcat assured him it was normal. Snakeroot explained the possibility of leafspeak and Mudcat was thrilled when she found out her daughters had leafspeak. (Sorry a lot of parent background but it’s important) Cranberry loved all her siblings and aunts and uncles and parents she loved learning and talking to the plants and sometimes she could communicate through the friendly ones. She made some cool bracelets one for each of her siblings and four for herself she weaves and dyed certain grasses to get it just right. (She made two of each kind one for her the one for her sibling she has four siblings) she was such an exciting and young character and loved all her family. I really loved this for her as she was still a really hopeful land young dragonets and I love her character Moth I feel that I saved the best for last. After the queens council one of the silkwings noticed a black dragon and a green dragon flying away and the silk wing named Morpho followed them. He was curious. Upon arriving at the nightwing village a beautiful dragon named Oraclestar came up to Morpho and asked a question but Morpho was in love and couldn’t hear the question after a couple weeks she too fell in love with him and the decided to have a dragonet together. When Oraclestar layer the egg both looked after the beautiful black egg until it hatched, they named the beautiful dragonet Moth. As the weeks went in Oracle star started noticing differences in Morpho. Sometimes his eyes would roll back into his head and he’d do and say things that he usually wouldn’t do. When Moth wove get cacoon and was asleep for 5 days Morpho would go crazy more often and when moth emerged with new wings Morpho attacked her and her mother. Morpho’s eye were white and when they returned to normal Oracle star and Moth were bleeding and crying and afraid. The other mind had somehow infected Morpho and he’d hurt his family. Morpho and Oracle star decided it would be best if Morpho left and went back to the rest of the silkwings on Pyrrhia. Oraclestar taught moth to be strong and determined and told her that Morpho still loved her very much. Moth grew up with a nightwing attitude and she was a very strong and dangerous dragonet her silk and fire helped her to do wonderful things. I know it’s not a long backstory like the others but this one’s my favorite
I have a back-story for Moth! Moth was sleeping peacefully one night, when her father went insane. He pounced on her from behind ripping and tearing. Moth jumped up in pain, trying to fight back. She went for his eye, but got his throat instead. Moth now lives in fear of most nightwings and lives with silkwings. Moth has a difficult time flying because of her ripped wing. Moth is a gentle soul who wouldn't hurt anyone. She often wonders who her siblings were, but her mother refuses to tell her. Little does she know, her "mother" is her older sister. Did her sister have a dragonet with her father? Or did her sister decide to take care of her when their mother left? Who knows?
Brisk backstory: Hatched during the war of sandwing succession his parents where in the talons of peace during the time.and he was taught about how awful the war was.they never let him outside
All the dragons were amazing! But with cranberry I think it might have looked a bit more mudwing if you had added a flat snout, but otherwise all the dragons were very fell drawn, that was my only small complaint. Please reply to me if you can tell be why!
Brisk’s Mother is evil and is an animus. Everyone tells him his mom is evil but he does not think it’s true, this is because of the earring his mom gave him enchanted to make him on his moms side.

Brisk backstory: Brisk is a male dragon. His parents were very nice but he was pretty fussy. He lives in the sea kingdom where is father, an ice wing, barely visits. He has a stern personality and he doesn’t have any freinds. He is very good at fighting and has a pet scavenger. Queen Coral and Queen SnowFall know all about him and so Queen SnowFall gives his father perms to visit him.

Here is my Backstory for Cranberry:
Cranberry is very energetic. She wears four bracelets constantly. This is because when she was a young dragonet, she was enchanted to not be able to talk. Her friend Brisk is an animus and he helped her be able to talk. Her best friend is Kinkajou. She met her when she went to the rainforest to get fruit and since then they have been besties.
Love all of the dragons! I think that Brisk's mother is a SeaWing, as that is the dominant part of the hybrid, so he probably grew up in the sea just outside the Ice Kingdom, where it was perfect for him. His father would live in a small seaside IceWing town, sneaking away to visit. His mother stayed in slightly warmer waters than him. He lived in an area between the two dragons, arranging above-ground meetings for the family. He only came out when he heard that his father got affected by the plague that Darkstalker sent out to the IceWings, to search for the cause. His father just barely got an earring from his mother and him in time. Also, I think that maybe Moth's scars were caused by Burn. She could have been trapped by Burn, to be put in the Weirdling tower, but escaped with only some scars. She then hid in the outskirts of the rainforest, away from dragon's view. Love your videos! Imma do a backstory for Brisk.
Brisk was the dragonet of two dragons, named Husky and Jade. He hatched around 3 years after the dragonets of destiny. He grew up in the Sea kingdom with his mother. He didn’t really get along with the other SeaWing dragonets, since he lacked some of the scales to communicate. His only friend was a small dragonet named Olive. Every now and then, his mother would send to go live with his father on the outskirts of the Ice kingdom. Since his mother was a full SeaWing, she would only fly with him to the border of Sand kingdom and Ice kingdom. He liked the Ice kingdom much more than the Sea kingdom. Although he missed Olive, he had many more friends in the Ice kingdom. There, he didn’t lack anything to communicate with the others. He could talk with others, and have more friends. He wasn’t the social outcast. He didn’t really like his father much though. His father didn’t even know he existed until Brisk was around two years old. He never really cared for the dragonet. On one particular day, he ran into a small IceWing dragonets sitting near the great ice cliff. The dragonets name was Quartz. The dragonet was just sitting there and crying. “What’s wrong?” Brisk asked the dragonet. “My brother. A SeaWing killed him,” cried the dragonet. “What do you mean?” Brisk asked the dragonet. “I mean that my brother was killed,” the dragonet said bluntly “I have this bracelet from him, it’s my most prized possession,”. “Do you want me to enchant it?” Brisk asked. Brisk hadn’t told anyone this before, but he was an animus. But this dragon was different. “What do you mean? Are you an animus?” asked the dragonet. “Yep, I’m an animus,” Brisk said to the dragonet, smiling. Brisk thought something was different. He had never felt this way about a dragon before. The way her smile made him feel was different than any other dragon. “What kind of spell do you want me to put on it?” Brisk asked.

Most NightWing/SilkWings I see are nothing more than black SilkWings, but Moth is a clear and very beautiful exception. I love how you based he off that picture of a moth, and the colors really pop! In fact, I don't think I've ever seen any NightWing/SilkWings with red scales. You're so unique and creative!

His mom was a seawing his father was an icewing in the first circle, before queen snowfall was queen. He grew up alone because his mother abandoned him when he was 2, and his father didn't know his seawing mate had a dragonet. he lived on his own and was taken in by the icewings. He still didn't know who his father was, and wanted to find out. So he and his only friend Sleet asked every icewing if they'd heard of a icewing in the first circle mate a seawing. And Brisk eventually found his father, Walrus.
Cranberry:[ My personal fav ]
She maybe lost her home and was forced to leave with her mom, a mudwing, her father was killed because of his relationship with her mom. Her mom mated with another mudwing and got a brother, not multiple eggs like a normal mudwing. her brother was Bog. She hoped for a friend that would like her for who she is, not because of what she looks like.
Moth:
She was born on the battlefield, her father fighting a group of Hivewings who still wanted Wasp to be their Queen. She was captured and forced to fight for the hivewings. She met her mother on the battlefield from faint memory and lived happily ever after.

These are amazing! I'm thinking for Brisk, maybe he was born under the sea, but never wanted to go up to the warm, sunny, icky, surface. Brisk retreated into the depths, reading Queen Corals scrolls and never speaking to anyone. As the years passed, however, Brisk soon became tired of living in solitude, and decided to risk a trip to the surface during moonlight. He popped his head above the waves, breathing in fresh air for the first time in his life. *what have I been missing?* he thought, gills flaring happily. He walked ashore and shivered, spreading his wings and flapping experimentaly to shake off the water. "Is this...the Ice Kingdom? Hmm, when did I read about this?" The SeaWing-IceWing hybrid rasped.

For some reason mud/leaf is so intriguing to me. Some other possible names/looks for the mix could be: Cypress, Moss, Duckweed, Algae, Lilypad, Lotus, Mildew, Black Mold (great for poisonwing), Palmetto. Even the canon names of Cattail and Reed could be hybrids.. possibly.
Waterwheel maybe? (FYI waterwheels are basically underwater Venus flytraps)

I'm a BIG fan of yours, Pebble! I also draw dragon hybrids but not digitally, on paper. I also write fan fics of WoF, but anyway, I got a backstory idea for Brisk, soooo here it is:
Brisk was born in the Ice Kingdom near the freezing water, but his mother, a SeaWing, sometimes brought him over to visit the Sea Kingdom, which was much warmer. Brisk didn't like the warmer water, and usually didn't visit Sea Star, his mother. He only had 1 friend, a Sea/NightWing, named Abyss. Abyss also was missing some flashing scales, and she was a dark blue color, but she lived in the SeaWing village. One day, Brisk met Queen Coral, and loved her writing. He then promised himself to become a famous writer, just like Queen Coral. When he started writing, a rush of words would flow out of him, and he finally finished his first scroll. But Queen Coral saw his writing, and was so surprised about it, that she sent him to a special writing school. Brisk didn't like it much since a lot of the SeaWings picked on him because he was half IceWing. He soon begged the queen to pull him out, and Coral finally agreed. She spent several weeks trying to find the perfect school for him, but then, she had an idea! Queen Coral sent Brisk to Jade Mountain, and he was able to make more friends with hybrids. Coral also sent Abyss, and they became even closer friends.

This is cranberry’s story. The night she hatched she didn’t get to see her mother who was a leafwing, her mother got a slash to the neck by burn who didn’t careless. The first thing she saw was a small seawing dragonet. As each of then got older they became friends, cranberry kept the secret of her mother to her self and didn’t tell anybody. One day they were out on a fight and they spotted a old mudwing they landed and had a look around, they started to talk to the mudwing. As they were listening he stopped and stared at cranberry. “ my daughter she’s home!” Cranberry and the seawing looked at each other puzzled then they turned back to the mudwing “ I thought you said you never had family” yelled the seawing “well my mum died when I hatched” cranberry said Shyly. Soon the mudwing explained him self. After a while they got what he was saying. Two years later. Cranberry was happy and proud of herself and not afraid to tell anybody the secret. Sadly she died of the seawings mother who drowned her. She lived a happy life 😭😭😅😅

Love the dragons! I wanted to do Cranberry's backstory, Cranberry's mother was a mudwing, and father was a leafwing, her mother had gone to Pantala to scout, see ended up in the poison jungle and found her father, it was love at first sight, the lived in a small home but were living well. After a few years they had 2 dragonets, Cranberry and Fall. They had both been very kind and were close. Soon Fall and Cranberry went to school. That is where it ends for now. I hope you like it :)

Mk Moth! I have a pretty good idea for moth.
So a silkwing and a night wing met in Possibility after- the stuff happened and the silkwing (mother) instantly fell in love with the Clearsight looking dragon, they ended up talking and hanging out then eventually had eggs, Moth originally had a sibling but.. their eggs were attacked by jealous hivewings, they assumed that the children would have Clearsights abilities and didn’t want dragonets to be so powerful, so they attempted to destroy both eggs and only destroyed one. Moth was luckily saved by her father and her parents became extremely protective over her. They kept her home longer then most dragonets and sent her to Jade Mountain Academy to be in school when Moth was 3. She made friends with a lot of the other dragons but was very paranoid around hivewings, she ended up being so terrified of the hivewings her parents had to take her out of school because she would dread every minute of her day thinking the hivewings would attack her at any moment, she learned to like the hivewings and still felt jumpy around them but now Moth is much calmer around other dragons. She will always be traumatized but appreciates hivewings more then before. THE END!!
Also, I WOULD LOVE A PART THREE! I think that this series is SO FUN and I just CANT WAIT for the next episode, but it’s ok to take your time since drawing takes a while (but they are indeed *CHEFS KISS* masterpieces!!!)

I have a backstory for Moth’s sibling, who I’ll call termite. After being captured by hivewings, termite’s egg wasn’t destroyed, but instead, they let her hatch… and then horribly mutilated her. She used to have flamesilk but the silk glands were not so surgically removed, along with her eyes. She still had the antennae though. After the mutilation, she was left to die at the mouth of the snarling river, but the currents dragged her to the ice kingdom. The icewings thought that she was dead, but she walked onto the shore (likely terrifying the icewings). After that incident, she was sent to snowfall, who decided to entrust lynx with termite. She grew up among icewings and became friends with mink. After 6 years, when she went into her cocoon, the icewings decided to bring her back to her parents, but they didn’t know who, so they decided to look on pantala. After a while, they found the mutilators (in jail obviously). They asked for termite’s parents and they said that they were in possibility. After 6 years, termite was finally reunited with her family.

For brisk his earing is enchanted, but the enchantment gives him chicken nuggets whenever he is hungry. Why? Because when brisk was younger his friend would never give him chicken nuggets for being a hybrid so brisk asked an animus to enchant a block of ice he found than made it into an earing. I'm not doing anything else for the backstory, just when I saw brisk I knew what to do immediately.

Brisk: When he was a drago-net, he talked a LOT and never stopped. His family and friends were very annoyed by all his talking. One day, his older sister Seal yelled at him saying: “FOR ONCE CAN YOU BE QUIET OR IS THAT TOO HARD FOR YOU?!” Ever since then Brisk has been traumatized to speak too much, so over the years he has become reserved and quiet. He never usually speaks to anyone that often.
Cranberry: She grew up a joyful life with many siblings who loved her very much. She was the second-oldest of her group and took great care of her younger siblings. But one day, her oldest brother (the big-wings), tried to fight off a dragon who tried to hurt his family. He was killed and Cranberry was left to take care of her younger siblings by herself. She went into deep depression, but soon learned depression is a waste and decided to be a happier dragon. She now lives a joyful life and visits her siblings often.
Moth: Moth is quite the fierce dragon. She used to fight in the War of SandWing Succession but got some of her wing torn, and many scars. She decided to retire early because she needed to tend to her wounds. She found a NightWing who is a loyal healer and soon found out they fought in the war too. Moth still is a fierce dragon when protective, but is more loving and kind around friends and family.

I think Brisk’s mother was the SeaWing and they had planned a meet up when he was still an egg but they were found out and his father was killed leaving his mother to abandon the egg and run, meaning that some kind IceWings found and took his egg in as their own, growing up having low rankings in the circles and eventually being banished for supposed “betrayal” and then finding his mother in the Sea Kingdom and living with her.

I feel like I’m better at backstories than drawing- but here’s an idea for Brisk’s backstory:
His mother is a secret animus that skipped the talons of power ceremony like turtle did (giving animus to someone else) and she enchanted Brisk’s earring so that he could be animus an not loose a soul. His mother, Axolotl, escaped and went to the IceWing kingdom where she met Frost and they had a dragonet. Brisk lives in the sea in the icewing territory.
Cranberry probably has a few siblings who all tend a cranberry farm. Her leafwing mother visits them from time to time. :>

(Sorry if this backstory is bad, I was just kind of going with what I felt) ^Brisk's Backstory^ It began when an IceWing named Snowball met with a SeaWing named Atlantic, Snowball left the ice to be with Atlantic. They ended up having a lovely son named brisk, which held both of their attributes. Tragically, the other egg was broken when it got smacked into a rock by a frantically running animal. Brisk wasn't very good at hunting, or gathering, but he did enjoy the ocean that him and his family lived next to. When he was still a dragonet, both his parents got killed by a group of SeaWings who wanted to stay there after they were forced out of the SeaWing kingdom. Brisk ended up devoting himself to learning to fight and getting justice for his parent's deaths. Brisk ended up killing the SeaWings, leaving alive their three dragonets, since they left him alive. He became dull after having nothing else he sought out to do and lives out his days by the very beachside he hatched at. (Snowball is the father and Atlantic is the mother.)

I have backstories for Brisk and Moth. I will do Brisk first. Brisk’s mother and father fell in love when they met in battle. They had two eggs and had already planned their names. Brisk and Sapphire would be their names and their mother and father, Current and Seal, were still deciding who they should stay with since their relationship was a secret. When they decide the story would be that they had found them in the snow or on the beach and brought them back. When it was hatching day only Brisk’s egg hatched. The other didn’t make it. His mother was devastated but his dad didn’t seem that sad but Brisk could tell he was crying inside. A year later they had decided Brisk would be going to the ice kingdom even though Current didn’t seem that sure. They left a week later.
Brisk was now older and he had no friends. They would give him odd looks and whisper to each other behind his back. Mostly because he doesn’t have Icebearth and sometimes even gets cold. Even the royal family seemed not to like him! He was in the bottom of the ranks and no one seemed to think he’d ever go any farther. One day he had had enough and wanted to go live with his mother in the sea kingdom. When he finally made it he had no idea where he was supposed to go sense he was new. When he was swimming he crashed into a SeaWing when he wasn’t looking. The SeaWing seemed angry and was eyeing Brisk down. The SeaWing was a dark dull green and had patterns on his wings. The SeaWing grabbed him. Brisk struggled to escape from him, the SeaWing’s grip was strong. Soon he was somewhere he didn’t know and was met with many other SeaWings. That night was a blur but soon he met up with his mom and was overjoyed. He learned aquatic even though his light up scales didn’t flash that bright. He lived there for the rest of his life and found himself a wife named Seastar. Brisk never knew what happened to his father but all he knew is that he didn’t want to see him ever again because of how unsupportive he was. He was now happy
When Moth was a dragonet she was very happy. She lived with her mom and her dad lived in Pantala. Moth only met him once in her life and was angry she hadn’t met him ever again. Moth was a happy dragonet but now she wasn’t. Wars had happened that she wished she wasn’t a part of. She now lived alone. When she was 3 years old unknown dragons had attacked the NightWing village. Moth guessed they were all hybrids. A bunch of them. She remembered it as if it was yesterday. She was frightened, scared, didn’t know where she was while war happened around her. She had tried to fight back then but now she saw that it was foolish of her. It did her no good. She was injured for live now. Her flying wasn’t the best because of the bottom being torn off. When that fight had happened many dragons died. She was dragon napped and barely escaped. She tried to reach out to her father but he never came around. She had loved her old village, she had many friends and would always play with them. Now she know she would never go back. The memories would be too much for her. Now she travels alone.
Thanks for making this video! It was amazing how the drawing came out! It was so fun writing the backstories! I couldn’t think of anything else for Moth. I’m sorry for the long story for Brisk! I had so much of a Backstory for him.
I was thinking for brisk's backstory he could have not been wanted by the seawings or icewings, and was kind of always bullied so he's like a mega introvert and lives on his own and is very socially awkward. he might live in sanctuary and be friends with winter, since they're pretty similar. idk this is just an idea I hope you like it

Ok I really love all of the dragons, but I'm not very good at back stories. And when you were finishing Moth I came up with one.
So her parents were like warriors and they fought in lots of battles. But one day Moth wanted to be like her parents so she ran off. She found a battle that was still being fought and so she joined in. Everything was going good but suddenly an icewing leaped on her and ripped her wing. The battle was 4 weeks long and it finally ended. Moth's parents were so worried about her but when she came home her parents were dead. There stood an icewing, the same one that had attacked her. He had killed her parents in revenge of burning him. She had pushed him into the fire and he somehow survived. Since her dad was a nightwing, all of his nightwing friends heard the news about him and came to kill the icewing. And they did. They also decided to take Moth and train her to be a better fighter and more secretive/quiet. They succeeded in doing this and she is now a strong warrior. Brisk's parents met in the events of the dangerous gift. Brisks father was one of the guards that went with Queen Snowfall to Sanctuary. he met a Seawing named Atlanta who became Brisk's mother. Cryo: Brisk's dad, moved to Sanctuary after the events of the dangerous gift.
Brisk was the eldest out of three dragnets. there was him, Mist, an Icewing dominant and Aqua, his only sister which is a Seawing dominant. Brisk was four, Mist was three and Aqua was barely a year old. Brisk was offered to be a student in jade mountain academy. of courses he accepted. he always took an opportunity to learn. he ended up leaving but missed his family. he only had one friend which he wasn't even sure he would count as one: Stonemover. Every lunch Brisk sat with him and read some books quietly to himself and chatted to Stonemover.
one day when Brisk was in history class a Skywing Icewing hybrid ran into the school. Brisk recognized him as Hail from Sanctuary. what was he doing here? "SA--- SANCTU---" he was out of breath. Brisk walked up to him "whats wrong? why are you here?" Sa-- Sanctua-- Sanctuary is gone... its gone,I--- Im the last one" he barely whispered. "no..." Brisk stepped back. "no... no! no!... everyone? are you sure?" "Yes" Brisks family-- his parents-- his siblings-- gone. if he was there he could have saved them. "who did it" He whispered. "pardon" "i said, who did it!" "i dont know, some Mudwings they---" "were they wearing chains?" a Mudwing asked. Hail nodded. the Mudwing gasped "the cranes" she whispered. "what did you say?" Brisk asked. "the cranes. they were Queen cranes most loyal soldiers and were kicked out of the mud kingdom after her death because of all the horrible things they did when she was alive. now they've become a group of pillagers" "there still alive?" "No it's probably there great great great great great great grandchildren or something." "Dont worry, Ill make sure they suffer" he whispered as he turned to a different cave fueled with anger.
they're dead. killed so brutally. they needed to die, the cranes need to suffer ten times what his family had. Theres only one person that could kill them and make them suffer like how he had planned.
"Stonemover! I need you help" "why... i dont see how i could but... why?" "i need a spell, i need you to kill the cranes." "huh? you now i cant do that ill---" he looked up and saw the tears in Brisks eyes. "i--- you--- ... fine" he said hesitantly. "get me a knife" Brisk ran to the kitchen and grabbed the sharpest knife he could find then told Stonemover how to word the spell. "I enchant this knife to kill all of the cranes and make them suffer ten times as much as Brisk family had..." the knife lifted up in the air turned toward the door the sped past Brisk. Stonemover smiled, then chuckled, then laughed as hard as he could then said "I enchant my scales to return to the way they were before i put the spell on them, and I enchant jade mountain to collapse on everyone inside"

For the mud/leaf hybrid I would say her mother got lost on her way to the rainforest and ended up in the mud kingdom. She then found a dragon that was brown like the dirt and fell in love with her and had the mud/leaf egg

Cranberry could have grown up in the mud kingdom, and some would have shunned her because she had weird shaped wings and as she grew up she noticed that she could hear plants speaking to her
I think that Brisk's mother is a IceWing. And the father is a SeaWing. I think that Brisk grew up half in the SeaWing palace and half in the IceWing palace. I also think that Cranberry didn't grow up in the Mud kingdom and she grew up in the Poison Jungle. And I think that Moth grew up in the NIghtWing kingdom, but after the volcano eruption, him and his mother, a NightWing named Eyecatcher, and his father died trying to fight a very agresive SeaWing that eventuly died of starvation.

Gah I didn't see this yesterday. I adore Cranberry and her design. I also don't see anyone making a backstory for her, so I'm going to do that now. I just really like her and the way she looks.
Long after the events of all the books, a Leafwing, against his mother's wishes, traveled away from the rainforest and found himself in a swamp. All the plants had such interesting things to say. Her mother spotted him from across the swamp and snuck up behind him, as she enjoyed scaring the newcomers. They fell in love and had three eggs, but the mudwing mother's sibs resented the leafwing father. So one day they crushed two of the eggs and killed the father, hiding them in the mud in which they lived. They told the mother that the leafwing had stolen the two eggs and run away. Cranberry was named after the berries that her father had so loved, and was raised blissfully unaware of what had happened to her father and unfortunate siblings. She favored her plants as friends over the dragonets around her, and eventually drifted away from the social life of a normal mudwing. Her mother didn't want her anymore, and allowed her the wandering life that Cranberry had chosen for herself. And one day she left, with the four green bracelets that her mother had given her. She loved the world around her and saw good in all dragons. She always traveled, never staying in one place for long. She's happy with her life, and happy for the plants and people who have been kind to her.

Cranberry
Cranberry was different than the other Leafwings, she knew it from the beginning. Instead of green wings, she had red ones, and her leafspeak could only be used on swamp plants. Growing up in the poison jungle, Cranberry didn’t have many friends. After all, who would want to be friends with somebody like her? She was weird, and quiet. But she didn’t know she was a hybrid. Atleast, not until she had to evacuate to Phyrria when the Breath of Evil was burned, and took over her mother. She flew and flew until a coastline was visible in the distance. After a few hours, they had to keep moving, as they had landed in the ice kingdom. After more flying, they arrived in a town called possibility. There she met a mud wing who- ACK GTG FINISH THIS FOR ME OR SOMETHING
brisk wasnt very social as a dragonet, his odd looks coming off as threatening to the other dragonets. he grew up in the seawing civilization, and didnt know he was a hybrid until he was an adult. this is all i can come up with rn
Can you try experimenting with like doing a whole family of dragons instead of just individuals? Like focus on one dragon and then draw their parents and other family members? It would be so cool to do a family tree for a dragon!
Maybe you could even take one hybrid dragon and have them have kids with another hybrid dragon!

Moth:
Moth's mother was a silkwing and her father was a nightwing. She had no idea how her father met her mother, but she knew that they loved each other. When she was 3 her parents had another egg. It was a male and named Sier. She grew up happily, far away from the nightwing and silkwing kingdom. She had only one friend, Cranberry, her adopted sister, who was a year younger than her. They were always playing together, sometimes with Sier. Well, one day, when Moth was 9 Burn's soilders raided her home. Her mother, father, brother, and adopted sister escaped, but Moth wasn't fast anough. She was caught and put in Burn's Tower, because she looked odd. She eventually escaped but got many scares while doing it. She reunited with Cranberry and Sier, discuvering that they had been looking for her while she had been captured. Moth lived a happy life, but was always very cautious.
P. S. I haven't read all the wof books yet so there will probably be holes.
Some people ask me all the time, “if you were a wings of fire hybrid, what would you be?” And I usually respond with a rainwing nightwing hybrid, and not just because it looks cool but because I think it matches my personality. I’m very smart, but also really freaking lazy.

She was born and after she was hatched her mother was like ‘oh no!!!!’ {her words exactly.} So she tried to kill her {that’s why she got her scars because her mom went for wings so she couldn’t fly away, and her leg so no running away and her neck for to make her yeet out of the world for blood loss or loss of needed internal stuff idk} BUT Moth escaped and found her dad who was in the scorpion den and they grow and like a teacher/mentor relationship then they learn that their related!!! WOW

Brisk
He’s a mommas boy he never really knew is dad and loved helping mom with everything she needed. His mom was a strong independent ice wing named Polar she met Brisk’s dad on a trading journey they hit it off immediately then one day the sea wing disappeared Brisk always wanted to know his dad but polar never told him anything in order to “protect him” she said. Brisk and his mom were frowned upon by other ice wings because of Brisk’s scale pattern one day Brisk got sick of the neighbors scolds and the highty tighty community that he thought he might go hunting in the water. He found this much easier as his webs helped him underwater than snag on ice and rocks. He hadn’t realized how far he had chased the school of fish when in the distance he could see islands swimming over to them he realized he had swam all the way to the island palace ruins so far away from home. He decided to look around. The only thing he did know about his dad was that he was a seawing named Clam. He looked around to see if he could find another sea wing and it didn’t take long to see two sea wings fighting with animus magic it was so scary and cool the dragonets looked to be almost a year older than him. Curious he was joking around and told the shells around him to stack in a pile. To his surprise it worked meaning he was an animus! Excited he decided to keep it a secret. When the fight was over he went to the green one and asked if he knew any seawing by the name of clam(obviously this wasn’t in the book but just pretend ok?) and the green one answered ya that’s my oldest brother. Excited Brisk said so your my uncle that’s so cool. Turtle looked at brisk in shock. That means your apart of the roal ice wing family Turtle said. Brisk’s jaw dropped to the ground and he immediately assumed a royal like position as a dangerous individual. When he got home he continued copying Royal icewing postures and expressions and tried to learn the sea wing aquatic languages but it was difficult to speak the full language because he was missing some of the scales used to communicate. One day he was frustrated at home and every time his mom asked him to do chores he went nuts once he yelled while trying to Learn aquatic and said “stupid scales just have all the seawing marks!!” and the did. This would surely show the icewings that Brisk was part of the tribe. He announced his magic to the queen and they all rejoiced. He stopped going back a forth to icewings sea wings and Brisk stayed in the ice kingdom. When the plague started killing icewings his mother was one of the unlucky ones he became closed off after losing his mom and he enchanted his mothers earrings to protect him from all animus magic and he never takes them off to stay safe and keep her with him forever.
Cranberry
Cranberries mom is a mud wing named Mudcat. Cranberry was the youngest of her sibs. Cranberry’s dad was a leaf wing one of the few to escape the other mind, his name is Snakeroot. He saw a bunch of dragons leaving while scouting out one of the further areas and trailed them from behind careful to stay hidden. If there was an evacuation group he was going to be apart of it. At one point he lost the group and started flying in the same general direction he thought they were headed. Eventually after a very long and tiring flight he found land and rested for a long time. Mudcat and her sibs spotted him on patrol by the mud kingdom border. When he woke up they both went into fighting positions and explained that they came in peace. Snakeroot joined Mudcat and her sibs and they had dragonets changing the mud wing culture slightly Snakeroot wanted to be apart of their lives he and Mudcat named their dragonets. When the dragonets hatched Snakeroot was surprised that the first one started to claw and chew on the other ones but Mudcat assured him it was normal. Snakeroot explained the possibility of leafspeak and Mudcat was thrilled when she found out her daughters had leafspeak. (Sorry a lot of parent background but it’s important) Cranberry loved all her siblings and aunts and uncles and parents she loved learning and talking to the plants and sometimes she could communicate through the friendly ones. She made some cool bracelets one for each of her siblings and four for herself she weaves and dyed certain grasses to get it just right. (She made two of each kind one for her the one for her sibling she has four siblings) she was such an exciting and young character and loved all her family.
I really loved this for her as she was still a really hopeful land young dragonets and I love her character
Moth
I feel that I saved the best for last.
After the queens council one of the silkwings noticed a black dragon and a green dragon flying away and the silk wing named Morpho followed them. He was curious. Upon arriving at the nightwing village a beautiful dragon named Oraclestar came up to Morpho and asked a question but Morpho was in love and couldn’t hear the question after a couple weeks she too fell in love with him and the decided to have a dragonet together. When Oraclestar layer the egg both looked after the beautiful black egg until it hatched, they named the beautiful dragonet Moth. As the weeks went in Oracle star started noticing differences in Morpho. Sometimes his eyes would roll back into his head and he’d do and say things that he usually wouldn’t do. When Moth wove get cacoon and was asleep for 5 days Morpho would go crazy more often and when moth emerged with new wings Morpho attacked her and her mother. Morpho’s eye were white and when they returned to normal Oracle star and Moth were bleeding and crying and afraid. The other mind had somehow infected Morpho and he’d hurt his family. Morpho and Oracle star decided it would be best if Morpho left and went back to the rest of the silkwings on Pyrrhia. Oraclestar taught moth to be strong and determined and told her that Morpho still loved her very much. Moth grew up with a nightwing attitude and she was a very strong and dangerous dragonet her silk and fire helped her to do wonderful things.
I know it’s not a long backstory like the others but this one’s my favorite

Moth was sleeping peacefully one night, when her father went insane. He pounced on her from behind ripping and tearing. Moth jumped up in pain, trying to fight back. She went for his eye, but got his throat instead. Moth now lives in fear of most nightwings and lives with silkwings. Moth has a difficult time flying because of her ripped wing. Moth is a gentle soul who wouldn't hurt anyone. She often wonders who her siblings were, but her mother refuses to tell her. Little does she know, her "mother" is her older sister. Did her sister have a dragonet with her father? Or did her sister decide to take care of her when their mother left? Who knows?
Brisk backstory:
Hatched during the war of sandwing succession his parents where in the talons of peace during the time.and he was taught about how awful the war was.they never let him outside

All the dragons were amazing! But with cranberry I think it might have looked a bit more mudwing if you had added a flat snout, but otherwise all the dragons were very fell drawn, that was my only small complaint. Please reply to me if you can tell be why!
Brisk’s Mother is evil and is an animus. Everyone tells him his mom is evil but he does not think it’s true, this is because of the earring his mom gave him enchanted to make him on his moms side.
For the Ice/Sea- perhaps the child of an animus IceWing royal and a SeaWing royal, and is the father of Albatross?

Brisk backstory: Brisk is a male dragon. His parents were very nice but he was pretty fussy. He lives in the sea kingdom where is father, an ice wing, barely visits. He has a stern personality and he doesn’t have any freinds. He is very good at fighting and has a pet scavenger. Queen Coral and Queen SnowFall know all about him and so Queen SnowFall gives his father perms to visit him.
