- The Brooks Running Carbonite Jacket is a supreme weather defender and an all-around great choice for being seen on the run. Today I put my jacket to use in 34(F) degree weather and ran 4.5 miles through the country. Along the run I felt highly visible and very comfortable - I cannot thank Brooks enough for sending me this jacket!

What’s the difference from the other brooks jacket you have?
I have this (Brooks Carbonite Jacket), and the Brooks Canopy Jacket. The cut / fit is very similar and they are nearly identical in design, however the Carbonite jacket feels more weather and wind resistant than the Canopy jacket. The difference is in the materials.
Canopy?
The Canopy Jacket is another jacket that Brooks offers and that’s what I’m using to compare to the Carbonite. I realize this review is only helpful if you have the canopy jacket, so for what it’s worth the Carbonite jacket is a great all weather lightweight jacket.

Got ya! That’s where this jacket and the canopy jacket would do well. I’ve been wearing this jacket with a long sleeve base layer for temps under 30°F.
