Shokz headphones are easy to use and come with easy instructions. You simply power on the headset (clearly shown in the product instructions) and pair with your phone via Bluetooth. The Canopy Jacket is another jacket that Brooks offers and that’s what I’m using to compare to the Carbonite. I realize this review is only helpful if you have the canopy jacket, so for what it’s worth the Carbonite jacket is a great all weather lightweight jacket.

Got ya! That’s where this jacket and the canopy jacket would do well. I’ve been wearing this jacket with a long sleeve base layer for temps under 30°F.

I have this (Brooks Carbonite Jacket), and the Brooks Canopy Jacket. The cut / fit is very similar and they are nearly identical in design, however the Carbonite jacket feels more weather and wind resistant than the Canopy jacket. The difference is in the materials.

If you max out the sound, yes. It doesn't bother me, however I could see it being a little much for some.

Inside the case? It's to hold your charging cable.

I was wondering the same thing. There's a black elasticated band included in mine (and no, I'm not talking about the tiny rubber band that secures the charging cable on first opening. No reviews mention this item which I find really annoying.

Hmm, that’s interesting. Without seeing it firsthand I’m afraid I’m at a loss. My case only has the elastic band sewn into the lid of the case, and that’s where my charging cable was located. Is this band on the inside or outside of your case? I’d be interested in seeing it!

@@runningwithkenrocks Hi Ken, thanks for responding. I have the brand new Shokz Openrun set and the packaging is different to yours. Included is the headset, a soft and rather cheap carry case, (basically just a bag), one charging cable and this strange rubber band that fits nicely on my head .Apart from the anomalous band, I'm a bit miffed that I didn't get the extra charging cable or the earplugs. Another strangeness. I just discovered that there are 3 sound mode options available by simultaneously pressing the volume up and down buttons. No mention of that at all on the instructions that I can see. All seems strange unless the European Market gets something different than the US. Who knows? Edit: I just downloaded the full instructions which describes the muli-mode capability as well as how to pair with two devices etc. Still no mention of the elastic band. Wish I could show you a photo.

@@craigherriot4026thanks for sharing, perhaps it's different for the EU market? They renamed the Aeropex model to OpenRun, this video is for the OpenRun Pro edition - so maybe it's the difference in models? I've never had a poor Shokz experience, so this is all new to me. Perhaps it would be best to message their customer service for answers. Keep me posted! I'm really curious to know if these are different between markets.

The OpenRun Pro has the same size band as the Aeropex/OpenRun. The mini size hasn’t been mentioned to my knowledge.

I can only speak from owning the Peloton shoes, but they are awesome! I've never had any foot pain so it might be all in the setup!
