That looks nice. I like the fact that the streets are so spacious. Here in Central Europe everything is tight and crowded. Can't wait to move back to the US. Hope it's going to be Plano/Dallas. Thanks for the tour!
I moved away from Plano 30 years ago. When you leave your home, you're likely to have vivid dreams about your old hometown, but different. Just like this.
Coming from someone who's lived in new york, the greenery of this city is unreal and it's awesome. I can't wait to move here. I'll be moving here in about a week and a half for work. Too excited!!!!
@@powerfulstrong5673 100+ years ago when this area was built, Plano was a very small farming town, so the 1-2 story buildings in the downtown area were normal for a town of it's size at the time. In the years since, Plano grew into a suburb to Dallas, with mostly strip shops and single-family homes. There are taller buildings on the other, newer side of town due to more recent business development.
@@walkingfiend2331 In the United States most newly built suburbs lack midrise and highrise buildings with a few exceptions such as Bankhead,Georgia and Bellevue,Washington.
@@walkingfiend2331 One thing I just don't understand why newly developed communities in the United States of America generally have zoning regulations which are very restrictive on the construction of taller buildings.
@@powerfulstrong5673 Might have something to do with the soil and where the water table is in this area, that the ground can only support up to so much weight safely without creating sinkholes. Texas soil is very, clay like. At least hree in the south it is.

@@walkingfiend2331 Why are there no midrise or highrise buildings? Why dose all the buildings here in this area not exceed 5 stories high?
