THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Thanks for your advice and knowledge Ali!
Change the oil every 5k no matter what. It’s a few hundred more $ a year and well worth keeping the engine clean especially after the break in period.
You can tell the oil is bad by looking at it and smelling and tasting it ...
The technician can tell if the oil needs to be changed by looking at the driver?!? lolz. Stuff like this makes me lose faith in dealerships. What an asinine comment.
That was prejudiced statement looking at a person to determine, the way they drive, hmm 🤔
Thank You 🙏. Peace Out ✌️
Dealership says 10k that’s fked up. Change the oil every 5K or less. Book says 5K and nothing about 10k at all. Dealer doesn’t care how long the engine last.
When he looks at the driver and knows his vehicle is still covered under free service for first 2 years, he can immediately tell it doesn’t need an oil change at 5000 and 15000.
Please get it changed every 5000 2:07 , regardless of what the dealer tells you.
How often should the transmission fluid be changed in my 2019 4X2 Tundra? No dirt roads, no towing and no extensive idling.
How about for a 2015 4x4 V6 Tacoma with the same type use? Thanks.
The dealer change your car/truck oil once a year or 10,000k miles when your car still under 2 years free maintenance. After that they want you guys to bring it in every 6 months or 5,000 miles so they can make money…haha
I mean bring it to a small shop, but definately change that oil every 5k for synthetic and 3.5k for conventional
😂
Bingo! Since the oil changes are free for you they would be happy to even do it every 2 years. As soon as it is out of your pocket things change and now is 5,000 miles or 6 months. I hate those crooks.
This guy is full of BS, I wouldn't believe anything he has to say. Change oil at 5 months or 5k miles or sooner.
I’ve had service advisors that are complete idiots just trying to make a sale for the dealership.
Extremely experienced 😂😂😂😂, and that’s why I do my Land Cruiser, myself
How often should I be changing the air in the tires to prolong the tire sensor life?
I use quaker state ultimate durability, and a wix filter every 6k miles, engine runs smooth like butter..
How often should the transmission fluid be replaced in my 2019 Tundra? I do not tow, drive dirt roads or allow it to idle for an extensive period of time? How about a 2015 Tacoma with same circumstances? Thanks.
I chnage mine every 3k . F that 10k interval 😂.
Change it between every 3-5k miles. No matter what anyone says. 10k miles is bogus to me. Been doing that all my life and never had any oil related issues on any vehicle I have ever owned. Also that is first thing I do when I get any vehicle new or used, is to change the oil and start my tracking of it from there.
They just want to keep the car sales up you'd have to be an idiot to change it after 5 to 10000 Change it when it gets dirty don't be a dumb a**
Ali.
awesome thank you
I have 2021 tundra TRD PRO, it make a clunking noise. Only when I move the truck that first time. Do you have an idea what is making that noise or how can I fixed the issue
I have same 2017 tacoma
And 2021 tundra platinum too
Is it immediately after startup or after moving forward in drive a few feet? Its like a slight clunk. Felt slightly in the pedal?
I have heard that this is the ABS system check.
After 3K miles already oil looks bad. After 5K oil looks very bad. Driving Tundra over 5k miles on the same oil is a very slippery slope, you simply reduce its life.
Hello, i just bought a 2019 tundra, it has 6300 miles, flawless, lightly used from an older gentlemen. Where the heck am i on the maintenance. Do I proceed as normal or should i have all the fluids changed. Its 4yrs old. Thanks in advance for the advice.
I have a tundra it's my daily driver but I'm one not to drive unless I really need to. It's a 2018 tundra 4x4 5.7 liter TRD sport with 7k miles on it my last oil change was at 4k I'm wondering how often should I change my oil, last I checked my oil was still clear should I wait till 9k miles or change it when the oil starts getting a little darker? Thanks!
Funny how this came up when Fred Anderson Toyota in Sandford wants to charge you 75.00 bucks to change your oil. Already explained myself on other videos will continue post so customers know.
You can tell if special circumstance apply by looking at the driver???
Jeff, can you do a review on the 2021 Lexus NX 300 Hybrid? My sister is interested in buying one
When driving the RAV4 Hybrid does it matter how fast or how slow you drive in Trail mode to get the best traction?
How often should I oil change my 2020 tundra if I tow with it ?
I just picked up a 2018 with 13k miles trd sport and I’m getting massive steering wheel wobble when on highway please help
Tires balance, front end alignment
@@erickonassis6310 took it to dealer 5 times they aligned my truck 4 times and balanced wheels 5 times still same issue now I rotated tires and same issue
Thanks!
Thx I needed to know that.
Good advice Jeff.
Jeff, can we still order a 2021 Tundra or is it too late?
Still time Eric ... Jeff
@@FredAndersonToyota spent over two hours looking at inventory online, closet truck that may be a good fit is four hours away. I can hop on a flight and be down to you in half of that time. Would it be better to simply order what I want and wait four months or settle for something close enough when I am spending $50k?
Hi this is Jeff. Please just email me at toyotajeff1@gmail.com and we can discuss what’s the best option :)
@@FredAndersonToyota will email you this morning Jeff. I am really torn as to what we should do. Could use some sound advice.
For how long do you do free oil change?
For the life of the vehicle as long as you keep bringing it to us for service
Not true if you go to Toyota Fred Anderson in Sandford. Buy a Fred Anderson Toyota truck unless you spend money doing something else they will charge you $75.00 to change your oil. Plus their service advisor will tell you too bad because you didn't buy from this dealership so won't help you.
NEVER do 10k oil changes. 5k max. You will start burning oil around 70-80k
I changed oil on my 2010 4.6L every 10k miles. Just sold it with 417k miles. No oil leaks/burning/compression loss. The cats were shot though.
Why does Ali always have sweatbands on his arms? And oil should be changed every 5K miles regardless of anything on any vehicle no matter what anyone says.
No matter how a person drives 10,000 miles is bs lol don't take advice from this guy
Change less guarantees more car sales
