I completely agree! I’m in Berwyn Illinois and I watch him. He’s a historian/pastor. I can seriously picture all of the Bible stories the way he explains them.

I am learning about the Torah and the Hebrew names for the Father. YAHUAH HIS Son Yahusha Hamesiach and the Holy Spirit Ruach Hakodesh. Is it wrong to want to study this and keep the Torah. I don't do it for salvation because I believe Jesus finished work on the cross is my salvation and I accept Him as my Lord and Savior but some people say Jesus followed the Torah and He wanted His followers to do so also.
Here's the problem - what do these people talking to you mean by "follow the Torah"? Do they mean that believers must keep the Mosaic Law? Are they telling you that you must keep the Sabbath and observe the food laws? Are they telling you that you must keep the Hebrew feasts? If ANY of these are what you're being told, BE VERY CAUTIOUS!!! This is legalism pure and simple and it will absolutely RUIN your relationship with Jesus because it will put you on a performance track with God that NO ONE has EVER been able to keep. When Peter was told that Christians must keep the Law, he responded by saying, "...why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?" (Acts 15:10) What you're being presented sounds a LOT like the Hebrew Roots Movement. It sounds good on the outside because it's all about learning more about the Hebrew culture and history which helps believers to understand the Word. And that's true. But it quickly devolves into basic legalism. Remember this: The letter of the Law KILLS. It puts to death. This is what the Apostle Paul said. (2 Corinthians 3:6) I would strongly encourage you to go through my study in Galatians. www.ccontario.com/galatians
