Contract J.A.C.K. is a prequel to the 2002 computer game No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy In H.A.R.M.'s Way. It was developed by Monolith Productions and published by Sierra Entertainment, a subsidiary of Vivendi Universal Games. J.A.C.K. (Just Another Contract Killer) is set in the time frame between the events of the original No One Lives Forever and No One Lives Forever 2.

Kudos to whomever was the one that did this playthrough; I salute you for your patience and not dying of boredom due to the sheer, dull, repetitive "action" in this game. Please rest assured the criticism in my comments are aimed towards the actual game itself, not the video, nor the person who did this longplay; they deserve a medal for getting through this turgid and insipid game.
This game should have been 1/2 the length it is, the only really interesting parts are as follows:
1. The types of gun you can use to kill bad guys, while you have to essentially kill the populations of Czechoslovakia and Italy in the game in what seems like a "let's just copy and paste lots of bad guys all over the place" where seemingly endless enemies appear; but at least there are a bunch of guns that help provide SOME variety when shooting people. Personally loved the noise and action of the .50cal handgun/magnum.
2. The dialogue of the characters. Most of it is fucking hilarious and thoroughly entertaining almost every character that has a voice actor fucking kills it with the dialogue that was written for them; they are all really unhinged (except for Furio, poor Furio and that other guy that gets tossed into the Sun.)
3. Graphics-wise it's really quite clean and does give that 1960s spy movie aesthetic reminiscent of James Bond.
That's it, that's the interesting parts.
Honestly, the game reminds me of a comedian when they have a good 15 mins worth of material, only to find out on the night of their set that they have to pad that material out to make it last 30 mins. If it were shorter and not so repetitive, it would have a more satisfying game to play; also the dialogue would be more consistent, some times you get a lot of dialogue in a level of a game, and then sometimes you get very little and/or it's spaced out too far. It's a shame as the dialogue IS the best part of the game.
It's a shame because if it were shorter in length, this game would be a lot better; it's better to have a game that ends quickly, but one you thoroughly enjoyed, than to have a game that goes on for longer, but becomes so FUCKING boring.
Again, this is criticism of the actual GAME, not the video on RUclips and not the playthrough either, they did the best they could, I'm just grateful they chose Easy mode so they could finish the playthrough as quickly as they could!

It's an unofficial sequel, but it was very disappointing when released. No charm or the NOLF games, pedantic gameplay and zero story. Lazy cash in that deserves to be forgotten.

I play Just hour and hordes of enemies suprisly dosent fit well. Serious Sam did this better.
