I don't know if it's my stomach issues, or if it's my own practice for so long, even being agnostic myself, I fast for a good portion of the day and then eat in the later parts of the day. I could choose better foods if I'm being completely honest, but fasting has been a normal part of my life. It's been amazing.
Islam is the best, nobody needs to teach us cos there is a practice Muslims does , it’s called the prophetic fasting of dawud (A.S) or David , he fasted one day on one day off. That is the best of fast ever!
I know it's not taught anymore but, I can give you the short version. Men and women are biologically different. So much so that we even have different body parts. Our metabolism are not identical, our DNA is different, our bodies develop , we think differently and so on. Therefore, what might be good for one is not good for another. It has always been this way. The attempt to circumvent nature has consequences....we are experiencing some symptoms now.
