thank you, the fishing line will pick up the color of the light that you shine creating those lines of light in your image. If you use a green light you will get those green lines!
Awesome! Thanks so much! I follow you on insta and you've been SUCH an inspiration there! So glad to see this here! The generosity of the light painting community is just amazing to me!
How'd you get those fine lines of light on some of your face shots? I assumed one of those cheap handheld fiber optics toys you get at the theme parks at night. Thought maybe you fanned the fiber opticts out and then slow dragged them down. Interested to hear back. Good stuff bud!

Loved the video and ideas...if I had one criticism it would be from a newbies point of view, you have shown some really good ideas but not the method, would be a good idea for a future video to show how you obtained the end results and camera settings....for the new comers and the unsure....still loved it though
Thanks Simon, This one was more ideas for those that are a little more familiar with the Light Painting process. Check out some of the tutorial videos on the page and that will give you more of the basics. :)
Hi Lakshay, There is little to no editing of any of the images you see in this tutorial. There is no layering or adding or subtracting of any elements to these images. All the Light Paintings you see in this video were created in real time and captured to the camera in one single exposure. Only minor adjustments were made to a few of the images such as a minor level adjustment.
Let me start by saying I'm a man and I love women... But OMG brother you are phucking awesome some of these images are stunning I want to learn this so bad I left a message on your newest vid I have a. Canon t3i is this camera good enough I have a 50. 1.8 and the kit 18 to 55 what lens should I start with
Paps R be quick because you're limited to 30 seconds or less. Lol. About all I've been able to do are orbs and such that are simple. Gyroscopic designs where you hang a small LED from the ceiling and aim the phone up at it while it swings can be fun too. If you have an off camera flash and an assistant, one of you can paint with the lights, while the other can manually fire the flash via the test button to freeze the action of a model or to add ambient lighting.
Paps R A bit delayed in responding, but that year brought new technology. A $5.99 app called MOMENT-PRO CAMERA from the iPhone/iPad APP store, gives you full manual control over the iPhone’s camera. The software is quite extensive for six bucks. I don’t think it is available for Android phones.... maybe soon? I don’t know.
Still coming back to this amazing video for inspiration after discovering it over a year ago. Just mesmerized by the artistry!

Gracias Genio!!
Gracias :)
Ase main sab nhi samjh main a raha he details sow
wow. subbed.
Thank you!
You should never breath on your lens since that can mess up the coating on it. Get a UV filter and breath on that instead.
Good Tip thank you!
You are welcome! Thank you for these awesome tips.
Step 1 is actually a HUUUUUGEE NO NO especially if you do it constantly...unless you do it quickly or have lenses to spare.
UV Filter.

lol. Thank you. Responded on your first one!
you forgot to mention that it's requiring a super long shutter speed, Ohh...I guess that is just small details... lol
What about some light painting hacks for smartphones....

they probably think there a genius for the fog one
Thank you!
@@LightPaintingPhotography lmao 🤙
I tried, and It is fantastic. Better than foggy filter !!
Auto focus first, and change to manual, then shoot it.
Glad to hear it! @@freemanfly2986
Technique is all awesome however the soundtrack "sucks " I really hate where the music/crap is now days!!! But whatever great vid thanks
Glad you enjoyed the visual part, lol. :)
his style of photos scare me tbh

Before you start to create a video, you should wash and clean your hands, it looks terrible
Thank you. :)
I can't be the only one thinking how bad these look lol what a waste 😅 😂
Thank you, thats helpful :)
Some nice tips and tricks, but they are not hqcks. Had to turn sound off after 30 seconds though, the repetitive music was bloody awful.
Thank you! :)
i enjoyed the music
How in the world people like this music ??? they must be sick! the same thing repeating throughout all video can't believe it .... disliked!
Thank you. :)
