Cassanda and I have been struggling lately with more mental health issues than usual. It hasn't been fun, but it is a part of life for us. Exercise helps me. Eating fruits too. Even if I don’t always lift dumbbells, play soccer, watch soccer, dancing & skipping ropes tremendously helps me. Good distractions for me

You guys are amazing! The work you do is quite remarkable, and you know it.
It's also exhausting raising ten kids, oh my gosh! Where do you find time for yourselves?
Again, ten kids, geeeee, that makes mental health a priority, yes, actually mental health is all that matters!
You must find time to decompress, and recharge, have you thought of taking a mini vacation just the two of you?
We are all backing you up!

I don't know if you realize how much these messages help people, as somebody who has OCD, anxiety, social anxiety, many phobias, severe depression etc. This really helped me because as a really young person in this generation (9-14), it's really hard to get people ESPECIALLY parents to understand that we have it hard too. School has been really hard for me I'll mind my own business and all of a sudden the attention goes to me and I struggle to answer the question and then I'm the one that gats in trouble... so thank you this really helped me and might change my mind to not kill myself thank you so much. It’s depression season and many of us are feeling down during these winter months. I take a liquid supplement called ashwagandha in my morning tea to help me through this and I make sure to get more time outside. I sit on my balcony trying to soak up waves because I am not paying for a UV light when the sun is free.

On gifts. My nephew got a dollar and Goodwill. He was the most industrious child. He became a plumber learning to be an electrician in his teens. All those old things taken apart and rebuilt gave him a love of putting things aright.
