I got the x97 56mm v6 shape and really liking them so far. The shape especially, it’s wide with round edge like a radial but sidecut like a conical. My local has pretty rough asphalt, east coast and it’s 20+ years old, and I’m looking forward to trying them out there
I’ve had them for three months and I absolutely love them. The break in period is definitely there but after that they slide really well and are very fast
I'd say Spitfires are like a drifting car, they slide like in a curve. And Bones grip a lot first, harder to get them to powerslide, and when you do, they slide straight, like an icecube in the floor. How do these ones slide like?
It seems spitfire brought their 97a F4s back into the lineup. It would be great to hear some opinion in comparison! I've been a spitfire guy until I tried the dragons, so I'd like to maybe go back if those are up to par with the x formulas
i'm riding the 97 F4's for my street/curb set up and imo they're just as hard as the 99's.. i don't notice much difference at all.. especially with slides and reverts.. in fact kind of have buyers remorse, and i've been 100% a spitfire guy for years. i just couldn't stand the hype over the dragons so decided to try the SF 99's. that said they're great on smooth crete, but weve had wheels for that forever. i officially have a love/hate going with the new wheel madness lol
i just like how noisy the stf wheels were but i could never afford new wheels. Then. And aleays just got hand me down stuff . But i did see that powell and pig wheels makes 104a
dragons taught me how to powerslide now when i ride other wheels i can't get them to slide the same, but i also don't feel like they are as grippy as dragons are when im doing a 180 or somthing. The only time i wouldn't ride dragons is on wood. but i'd pick dragons over any other wheel for street skating or a concrete park.

Do you notice the difference with 99a against 97a? Like for technical skating/street
Not a huge diffrence they roll smoother. And bite more then a 99a
Hi! I have f4 99 conical full and I ride more asphalt (often rough) than skatepark..is it justified to change for 97x ?Thank you!
Are the dragon more quiet than these wheels?
Yes
