My daughter had a very hard time latching, and that lead to her being diagnosed early on because her mouth would not do what she wanted it to do consistently

So at the moment my child (3 and a half) is being watched by a Speach therapist and Apraxia is on the table of things to consider of what’s going on. We are starting Speach therapy but not rushing into diagnosis until we see how she develops over the next few months.
My worry is, how often is a child diagnosed with Apraxia and they don’t actually have it.
Do Speach therapist jump to this diagnosis to easily.
I feel like this is a big diagnosis and I’d hate for her to be told she has it. And turns out it isn’t true.
