I have a student who is 9 years old who can play this piece well, work on your hand / arm position and just keep practicing. It is not un attainable for someone with smaller hands.
he is playing 6 notes (3 down and 3 up bow) instead of the 4 in the sheet. (the 3rd note twice and the 1st note as 6th again before the new next 1st note) . I hope its still relevant a month after you asked :D I actually like playing it like this version as well, it sounds really nice. discovering duport etude 7 actually was the reason for me to learn duport etudes, some of them are really beautiful.
Great interpretation and skill. I love this etude and I've played it as one of my favorites for many years. Thanks you.
Thank you for this interpretation, exactly what I was looking for as an inspiration. :-)

Small hands sucks... It's really hard for me when i practise (i play piano).
What is your bowing? I am trying to figure it out

@@TheYumitori thank you! I started learning this bowing, and it sounds so amazing
Where is the cello endpin ? :-)
Schtofenbach baroque cello doesn't have endpin, has gutstrings...
amazing how strings alone can hold up the instrument
Michael Dyer?
Michael Dyer the cello is between the legs
I think it’s the Bender Invisible one ...

Good playing, but yikes the A string is horrible.
