No question that this is the way to go. $650.00 is a heavy price. When will it be on sale? I'm two years running waiting for the price to come down or a discount to occur!

Henry, sorry for the delay in responding to you. The price is high, but the reason for that is because this is very limited production hardware, costly to manufacture, made and supported in America, and made for a car that is now extinct.
This is not like normal consumer electronics that are imported from overseas cheaply by the tens of thousands. Therefore, there are no "sales" or "deals". The price is what it is. It has been this same price for over 5 years now, and has not changed.
If we do not charge this amount for the product, we simply cannot afford to make the product or stay in this business. It's that simple. Not only that, but we are currently in a worldwide shortage of semiconductor components that make the touchscreen controller even MORE costly to build. A roll of surface-mount resistors or capacitors that cost us $30 a year ago now cost $100 or $150! So it is not getting any cheaper to make this product.
So if you are waiting for a price drop, you'll be waiting quite a long time. We have over 10,000 of these all over the world, and many satisfied customers who give us 5 star reviews on our Facebook page. If you make the investment in this product, you'll feel the same way. Well worth the expense to get a decent head unit in your G8.
We currently have a small supply of our touchscreen AC controllers, which are the hardest item to get for us. If you want to order, we recommend you do so sooner rather than later.
