I don't think you run juggernaut or tortoise, but I think you do run powderman. The deck doesn't naturally run an undead, it's reasonably efficient, and there are enough taunt minion in the deck to make its effect powerful
I'm not sure about Boomboss Tho'grun. Sure, you could look at it and say "Wow, three Patchwerk effects in one!" But Patchwerk destroyed an enemy minion on being played, he impacted the board, and your opponent's hand, immediately. When you play the Boomboss, he's an 8 mana 7/7 with no immediate effect. How often can you play a 7/7 and pass your turn on turn 8+?
I miss trump arena so much. Is there any chance of it coming back? I get that playing heartstone as much as trump has can be a bit tiring. I still cant help but miss the good old days.
That said, in the past we have already seen cards that were essentially reprints of old cards + minor synergy with the new mechanic at +mana be good, will this be the case? Maybe
Imo these cards will not see any play, I can't see any card that can fit in Control Warrior besides Misfire and I don't think that Enrage cares that much about the taunts.
Those taunt minions must've been a last minute change, the art/theme doesn't make much sense with taunt. I bet it was previous 'destroy card in the enemy deck' or something.
I think with those new taunt cards there’s a taunt warrior minion for almost every tribe now except I think murloc and quillboar, so you’re def meant to run menagerie stuff in this taunt deck as well
I think releasing a lower power leveled expansion is a good thing, but it would be better if they reworked the existing standard roster of cards instead .

And ironically this hurts Plague Death Knight because Warrior is already shitting on that deck and now people will basically HAVE to run Steamcleaner. It really boggles the mind.

They didn't forget that they buffed Execute. If Execute is 1 mana, then Execute + Draw wouldn't be 2 mana. And Excavate is valued higher than draw a card, so of course it is 3 mana.
Excavate is valued higher than draw a card, but it isn't actually much better than draw a card. For the most part, the 1 cost cards could actually just be printed. The 2 cost cards are strong and the 3 cost cards are really good for their cost, but they are unsynergistic with your deck and are only worth 1-2 more than they cost. The only real reason to excavate is for the legendary and the payoffs, but until you get there, it feels really bad to play these cards.

I really like the card. Vs a combo matchup u should have enough armor to not die early and u get double the change since deck and hand.

Every excavate class have an insane if you excavate twice and öretty much every tredasure feels great.
They're being undervalued.
