We don't see the Lord's day as a Sabbath day or even replacement of the Sabbath day. Jesus is the body and not the shadow. No need to keep shadows when you already have Christ. Whenever Moses is read there is a veil... so stop always reading 10 commandments because that is reading Moses. New covenant is entirely different than the old covenant.

I'm trying to learn the difference in old and new covenant. Send me some scriptures please. I'm not going to confuse my mind with 28 man-made up mission statements
that they change to fit the times. ( To me) thats not Biblical.

@@mariejohnson4381 Type in to Google: The study of the covenants by Chris Lee Life Assurance ministries. It has all the scriptures that shows exactly how the old and new covenants work, with whom the covenants were made and how the old covenant is obsolete and we are to follow Jesus and shows you how to from scripture etc. I've read it so many times it is worth sharing with everyone. It has 14 pages, read all of it and you can follow in your own Bible if you want to. God bless you.

I have to say that this Great Controversy belief isn't biblical.
The Bible never have this narrative, in the way "the SDA's messenger" portrays it.
Satan never said that he wanted to be equal to God, but to be like God... In SDA terms, Satan could not have been equal to Jesus (The Word of God) because Jesus was God.. And through Him all things were made..
Satan knew that he was created and knows that he'll never amount to God (I am making an inference from the text), but had aspirations in his heart to be like the High One.
EGW makes this narrative that ignorantly exalts Satan to even be comparable to God and Lord Jesus Christ and downscales Jesus to be Michael the Archangel...
She created this Controversy and has made God equal to Satan.. This is why I see the Great Controversy as a heretical belief.
Think about it, don't just disregard it and say "Well, there was still a war in heaven though."
Glorify and Reverend the Lord Jesus Christ... More than the organization glorifies The Seventh-day 😔
I pray other sheep of Christ will wake up from this deception.

Can Jesus not be God and at the same time the Archangel?
Let me give you an example.
I do not know about the president in your country, but our President is the head of the country. He is our president, but at the same time he is also "Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces".
(is being the chief of the army a downscale to him as a president? Can he not lead the the people and at the same time, the arm forces?)
Jesus also is God, ruler of the heaven. But He is also the leader of the angels who fought Satan and his armies.
What's unbiblical in that?

@@imatangerine Your argument is flawed because your doctrine states that Jesus is the Archangel Michael and scripture shows Michael deferring to the Lord when battling with the enemy.
Christ is YHWH, not the Archangel.
To claim that He is Michael is a demotion indeed.

I am not the person who started this thread.
Christ is both Human and Divine.
He came into the world as a baby, yes.
I never implied that those were a demotion since He was always Himself, the Word of God and Creator not a different person whom He created and works for Him. LOL!
