Hello! Great idea! Could you give me exact model of pallet truck? :) I can't find model that shakes when max level of lifting is achived! :/

Thanks! As far as model of the pallet jack, it's currently buried in storage that I won't be able to get to for a few weeks so I can't get you exact details as of yet. I can tell you it is a Crown brand pallet jack, and by the looks of their website it appears to be a close match to the PTH 50 model. However, I purchased mine well-used, so I can't promise that a new model will do what mine does. I also think the pallet jack only shakes when it is fully-loaded with a lot of weight, so it might be possible that the jack needs to be lifting heavy objects first before it shakes at max height.
      Hope that helps!

That's pretty cool..I think if I make one I'm gonna use air powered hydraulic Jacks...they would go up and down faster

gringochoppers, that sounds impressive! If you end up making one I'd love to see how it works out.

No, sorry, I don't. This is about as detailed as I got by way of a video. I'm planning on doing another drop effect with the pallet jack this year though, so I'll try and make a better tutorial-style video going into more details this time around.

Was there a level difference when exiting the elevator after it dropped?

It probably drops about 6 inches or so, so not enough to cause problems stepping up and out into the hallway after. We also switched the path while they were in the elevator by closing and opening some curtains in the entry hall, blocking view to the lobby and opening up a new hall, thus giving the appearance that they were on a new "floor" of the hotel.
