Hooky's voice definitely fits Joy Division songs better than those of New Order. He was definitely the natural choice for frontman if they were to continue to make the dark rocky music of Joy Division instead of the dancy electronic music of New Order.

I have to say it's my first time watching Peter Hook's solo show and seriously... He's pure talent! I'm a huge fan of Joy Division and also New Order, but now I understand Peter's will of doing It by himself. He just rocks! His bass and vocals are just everything needed to make what Joy Division could sound these days...

I must beg to differ. He didn't play a single note for the first 3.5 minutes of the song, he just slapped on a polo shirt, went up on stage, clutched his bass tightly, and let some kid play his basslines while he did his best vocal Ian Curtis impression.
@@machete8614 He has said he can't learn songs from other bands ,singing and playing bass must be difficult for him ,that is why his son came back I suppose .
