- Sometimes all you can do on a challenging hunt is just get up each morning, put in the miles, and hope your full effort will be rewarded with a notched tag before the final mile is completed. Last September, Brad and his good friend Josh Kuntz found themselves in the midst of one such hunt. Over the course of many miles, Brad and Josh found themselves within yards of success many times. There was no shortage of screaming giants in the forest on this hunt.
So sit back and relax, and follow along on this challenging archery elk hunt and learn whether the guys find the success they're looking for in the mountains.

Can’t wait to put some elk meat in my new Argali game bags.
Best of luck!

good luck to ya
Chicken Pesto Pasta is where its at. Enjoyed the scenery.
Ready for the season to begin so close.
same here
Great video and footage. Might want to practice calling a little bit this offseason though 😬
What the heck was you waiting on man?😅 I'd drawed back when I seen him coming asap.
"i like to try to slip in and not call so much" you guys called like 130 times in this video lol. It's hard to know what to do, I'm the same way. Good video. You'll get'em next time.
Fair point. We compressed 9 days of hunting in this edit so it certainly comes across like non stop calling.
Would love to see a Josh Kunz pack dump video!
Great idea
Unless I missed something, I don’t know where you’re hunting, and on behalf of the dudes that live in X Section of X state; I appreciate the hell out of that.
Keen eye there. We decided a while back to focus on the hunt and not discuss the location if it is a public land hunt for all the obvious reasons.
@@Argali as a person who lives in a spot that hasn’t been terribly blown up yet, it breaks my heart a little when I see videos mentioning it and appreciative when folks, like you said, just focus on the hunt, regardless of where.
Anywho… had never heard of yall, but the algorithm got me here, and an actual YT reply from a company got me more curious about who yall are, long story short, after pursuing your site, you’ve 100% got a future customer when I’m tent shopping next season. Seems like a perfect product.
Just wanted to mention that the engagement goes a long way.
That's great to hear. Appreciate you letting us know!
Big Foot exiting the frame lower right at 2:58.
hahahaha
Missed it the first time but someone is definitely walking the lower right.
Still running the llamas huh? It probably makes for a more comfortable camp. How often do you need to water them?
It really just depends on the hunt. I'd say it's 50/50 on whether we use them for elk. For water just depends on the heat typically. sometimes they drink once a day, sometimes every few days.
For the most part bull elk don't like to come up hill to fight. You need to get on their level then work them to you. Much better chance of success.

You guys are way overthinking situations. JUST GO HUNT. Way too much Jibber Jabber.
A guy who’s never bow hunted elk before would say something like that I bet.
@@kylemcgill7887 Lol well that's pretty darn funny.
