I’m looking into getting the short shifter, cable bushings and shifter base bushings from you guys. I saw these in a you tube video and got curious. Every one says great things about this and I will also add it to list. How is this whole kit for a daily? I don’t want to be fighting with the gears and shifter like I was in a previous car that I changed bushings and short shifter.
It really just depends on what you like. Upgrading the stock parts to use detent springs, bushings and the shifter just makes everything sharper and stronger feeling. The stock plastic parts have a lot of free play which most people don't like.
You can if you want to. Just make sure you do not overtighten them! If you go too hard it will jam the detent inside of the bolt casing which is not good.
What package did you get? The springs for the Type R and Si should have only 2. The other package for the traditional K-Series & B-Series will have 3 springs.

So why does the package come with three springs and you only put two springs in? I'm just wondering where the third spring goes?

It doesn't matter.

Sure can!
So do any of those battery tray bolts get torqued at all or just “uggatug” tight?
I just tighten them down. They're only a battery tray
