  • Our new Heavy Duty Detent Spring kit for the 00-09 Honda S2000 is now available! We've been testing these for months and are finally ready to share them with everyone. Whoa! What an improvement!!
If you own an S2000, this is one of the cheapest and best mods you can possibly do, plain and simple. It DOES take a bit of work to get them installed (since you really need to remove the transmission) but the effort is worth the final feel!
Check out our website for more info, thanks for watching!

Just installed mine today and WOW! Super crisp and much snappier. My second gear was feeling a little notchy and this completely took care of it. 10/10 highly recommended

did you have the transmission out, also did you add any eurea grease? i saw it was a 12 size socket and heard hondabond.. mine arrive tomorrow

@@mr.hernandezdrives you can use the Eurea grease on the shifter ball, but don't put that in your transmission. These springs are lubricated by the transmission fluid.

@@mr.hernandezdrives nope, I did it with the transmission still in the car. However, I did unbolt the shifter from the tunnel and dropped it a little bit. It’s a tight fit but doable. Put the car on a lift if you have access to one. I put some Hondabond on the threads of the bolts when reinstalling.

Wow, this is what my 150k mile transmission has been missing. Incan definitely feel its missing that crispness. That bolt action rifle feel. No amount of fresh fluid change was really helping, and only now realize why. Its the return springs!
    Will be ordering!

Thank-you for the video guys, 💯; what's the torque after a dab of hondabond?

Could you make a DIY without the gearbox pulled out?

It's very difficult to install these with the gearbox installed in the car. It is not impossible, but we do not recommend it.

Darn, wish i had known about this when i just did the clutch, hah. After putting a CAE in my M3, the S2k shifter feels poop in comparison. This seems like it would fix that though.
