  • Freediving with eels in freshwater was a really amazing experience! I'm typically freaked out by freshwater. I just feel like there are horrible things lurking around and I never thought that I'd be seeking out those creepy critters! hahaha
    To learn to freedive check out www.freedivingfamily.com
    After our eely experience I went with Jade from Dive Eden to dive Merimbula Wharf. It was a really pretty dive site with a big friendly stingray. Jade knows the entire Saphire Coast like the back of her hand so if you're ever close to Eden get in touch to dive with her: www.diveeden.c...

    I live in Oregon and we have saltwater eels called wolf eels, which live in holes in the rocks and look very scary, look one up, they are camouflaged so that adds an extra level of spook.

    Hey Adam, great video! I went for my first spearfish/ freedive on the weekend and had a blast! But this video has got me thinking about a national park near my place in Tamworth that has clear water and Murray Cod, and now I'm curious to go and dive it.

    To dive deep, how many time do you equalize? Whenever you feel pain in your ears? Or every few meters or You equalize without stopping.

    Adam please respnd to this question, I must know! Why does freshwater freak you out and not the ocean? For me when I swim in lakes, sometimes I feel nervous but Im comforted to know that most freshwater bodies dont have large predators. Where as the ocean has Huge stuff! Whats your opinion!? Thank you if you get a chance to respond!

    • @zbeekerm
      @zbeekerm 3 года назад +1

      Saltwater crocodiles are much scarier than freshies. Salties will look at an adult horse and think: “yeah that looks like a good lunch!” Fresh water crocs are much smaller and more timid. Not to mention the Sharks, cone shells and blue ring octopus that you can find in the ocean.
