My grandma was a pretty major hoarder of bed sheets and linens. Not house-filling or anything, but pretty much every cabinet in her house was jam-packed with linens when she died. I think she only ever used the same two sets of anything, but she’d just keep on forgetting that she already had them when she bought more. Or maybe she thought they’d be nice to have around when her grandchildren came to visit and stay over (even though she lived just down the street from us and there weren’t any other cousins who would ever be staying with her).

Hi Alex! That tool you were wondering about in the basement, looks like an 8" length of 2x2 of wood or white plastic, with an angled slot running down it's length... It's a guitar repair tool called a Fret Bevelling File. It's supposed to hold a piece of mill file at about 35 degrees. You could cut a mill file to size, bevel the edges and glue it in. Save that for when you work on your guitars. I can explain further via private message. Message me.

Every thing should of been gone over with a fine tooth comb. Everything should of been taken to a warehouse and gone through piece by piece, who knows what was stashed in the pockets of that mass of clothes. Thinking this was a case of biting off more then he could chew. Its hard to watch a huge money maker slip through your fingers. This was a totally different kind of find, and should of been treated as such. But Alex knows what hes doing.

I’m thinking that 99% or more of the clothing has nothing besides a little spare change and possibly some costume jewelry mixed in with it. The items boxed and hanging were to well organized to be otherwise. The jewelry could have been pawned or stolen or is all stashed in the safe deposit boxes.
