“The Century is Japans most singular car. A world class formal saloon that has earned the trust of foreign VIPs visiting Japan. The Century, a formal saloon and trusted with carrying imported people in safety and comfort, capsulate’s the essence of hospitality.” You know what your a fan of the century when you can quote the commercials from the 90s lol 😆. Just a iconic car, that is if your in Japan because only like 95% of people in the USA have no idea what it is. Oh I want that so bad! I think after watching this I am definitely going to get the Tomica Basic Century as this model you showed is out of budget. I should have something to say on the GTO but the Century is the star here. Although I do like that police GTO from Para. Hey that’s a nice G wagon, looks so familiar, I think I have touched one before...🎵 “ Déjà vu I think I’ve been to this place before..” 🎶 Oh I am full of quotes today, if I take longer I might end up quoting the whole of Initial D “ There is a ravine on the other end, he has to hit his breaks”... oh god here it comes, bahhhhh... Where did the Ferrari end up, if you do anything with it I would love to see
Wow, you really REALLY like the Century!🙂 LOL. Thanks for all that great info, for real. And thank you for the trade! I hope everyone checks the link in the description for your channel.
That Mercedes G Class is a 2017 at the newest. Mercedes “revamped” the G Class in 2018. A G Class aficionado/nerd/geek will easily tell by the grille, bumper & headlight treatment that this particular G Wagon was modeled after the previous generation. What a FABULOUS casting though! I love your videos! Keep ‘em coming, brother! ❤️
Great castings my friend. Thanks for sharing with us. Have an excellent weekend, take care, and God bless you and your loved ones. Like # 2 to get you going my friend. 🖖👍😃
Nice lesson on quality diecast. Absolutely beautiful models. The Holden Commodore was an Opel Commodore in Germany based on the Opel Rekord body. They had a slightly different front, bit more chrome and bigger engines. Never a V8, though.
great that mercedes gklass, probably the best made version I've seen in this scale, I own one from kyosho and era but the one shown by you is by far the best, congratulations on your purchase
You took the viewers and subscribers to school...some of these diecast manufacturers, I never heard...I prefer true 1/64 cars...a older collector told me that I would lose interest in mainline diecast castings by Hot Wheels and Mattel ...once I start collecting premium brands like Mini GT...collectors like you inspire me to step my game up!
Man that’s a great comment coming from you. I respect your collection and vids, thanks for saying that. I love buying new stuff and also finding stuff people may not have seen before. I appreciate you watching. -David
Nice cars Daivd, I love the FX Holden very cool Australian Car, grey engine 6 cyl 138 , had a few of these in my day real ones that is but now have models 😂 Biante nice The Commodore S/LE 253 V8 auto most of them some very rare 4 speed, was awesome seeing cars from my country awesome video cheers KC 🇦🇺😎👊🇦🇺
I been doing research on Biante 1/64 cars and they seem to be made and sold only in Australia. Very interesting. Australia charges a lot just for shipping on eBay. They are like the TLV of Australia.
The iscale is fantastic. The last one, dcm, the Toyota. Wow, what a beautiful car. Para64 wants to be a high end model but there is a lot of work to be done. Era is a fantastic brand. Did a pre-order from a very ugly taxi van from Era only because it comes with a little crocodile figure 🐊😁 Very good review!
Thank you for checking it out with the other aliens. Yes, I love these brands....and finding new ones. The iScale really surprised me with the quality. It is fantastic! Sometimes the Era Car are too small but I think this one was a good 1/64 scale. The Toyota was my favorite though...it goes right back in the case. 😊
Hey!!! BEST INFORMATIVE 1/64th SITE EVER IMO! I collect these type of models too(Especially if it's a Japanese car)! Coincidently, I am a David as well! Glad to see that you know your cars, I'm a car designer, so for me pretty much history is important. I too have all of the sedans as well as the 3000GT that you've shown I have. Did you also add the White Century as well. I had to buy two of each color and am waiting for the HobbyJAPAN versions to release. I just subscribed! CHEERS!
Man thanks for the kind words! And welcome to the channel as well. I love learning about cars I did not see growing up, I’m basically discovering them now and learning as I prepare for the videos. I did not get the white Century but will in the future. I’m very impressed with it. Same with the Red Flag models from China (see separate video). From one David to another, thanks for watching.
@@twycediecast Seeing those Biantes drew me to your channel. I literally move around the world a lot, so during on trip, the international movers "Lost" a good deal of my rarer 1/64ths and a few boxes of premium 1/18ths. Currently as I'm in Europe, I held off on the Biante stuff, due to Customs adding taxes here (back home in the US, I never had that problem). I still do order from Japan and China/HK though. Since I'm here in Europe, I do get my fill of Norev Mini-Jets back up (Who have went from 3 inch to exact 1/64 in recent years). Hopefully you'll review some of those. Also, if you're on LGG group Facebook, I'll see if I can find you there. Cheers!
Did any of them have suspension? That biante is something else, i had several of their 1\18 supercar diecasts when i was younger and always enjoyed just staring at them.
That century is amazing, such an interesting car! Apparently they are available with a cloth interior (at least I've seen examples with cloth).. I was surprised given their cost, but I think they appreciate that cloth doesn't prevent it from being luxurious ;) Thanks for sharing all of these great cars, hadn't heard of Biante before, good to know more about them.
Nice lineup David👍. Some stuff we dont get to see everyday. I love the i scale Merc SUV....I have been debating on getting the paragon 3000 GTO but still not sure. I might buy one of the BM creations old school Mitsubishi Pajeros but still undecided on it to.. I procrastinate a lot when it comes to trying new brands😂😂. Thanks for sharing brother
Thanks Ron, happy to help. The Pajero by TLV is perfect, I’m not familiar with the BM Creations version. The vehicle is super cool to me though. I’m all for the new brands, I think you’d be happy with these.
Thank you for the nice words, but most of what I say comes from a quick look on Wikipedia before the video. I promise I’m not that smart! 😀 I appreciate you watching very much. -David
@@twycediecast Haha; I often do that too. I used to have ~5-10 car/motorcycle magazine subscriptions for over 20 years but I can't recall all that info so Wikipedia it and I still make mistakes when talking :) Anyway I hope you do more vids since you make different purchases. I might have to get that Toyota Century in the future.
Thank you for entertaining us my friend, you saying gaylandewagon was the best laugh I had all day 😜 The iScale might be the best rendition of the G-Wagon I've seen so far. I like my Kyosho versions but they're too small and my Era car seems too big. Maybe this one is true 1/64? The tow hitch is a nice touch, I like that. The Biante Holden Commodore reminded me of times long gone, I had two uncles who had the exact same Opel Rekord in silver. Does the exhaust actually go over the rear axle, or did they just make it look like that? The DCM Toyota Century is a fine piece also, the magazine on the back seat might be its favorite feature for me.
Always happy to provide a laugh or two! I might should have run that word through a translator to hear it pronounced, although I doubt I would have said it correctly anyway. Overall, I think most of those were 1/64....they seemed to compliment each other. You’d know better than me though, I’m still refining my ability to gauge the scale. Looking at the Biante now and can verify the axle appears to have holes where the exhaust pipes actually travel through it. Impressive. It appears the exhaust is a separate piece altogether. The undercarriage is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Also, as I concluded the video I was disappointed I did not point out the wood trim in the interior of the DCM. I bet that magazine is actually a wood grain center console.
Impressive exhaust piece it is then 👍 Detailing the interior with woodgrain and such is a testament for me of great craftsmanship, even more so then an ultra detailed exterior.
Great video David! I have some research to do on several brands now. That iScale G-Wagon is nice. How you found an Auto Art Holden? I have an Auto Art BMW Z8 that I love. Nice Biante Commodore ! I love the 2 Biante I have they're so nice, although pricey to have shipped from Australia. I was looking at that Santana from ERA or the Suzuki, still up in the air. I wouldn't mind that Para 64 Mitsu in red! Never heard of DCM, but am familiar with the Century, a nice addition to your collection to be sure! What a phenomenal selection! Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks Joe! I think the Holden from AutoArt came up as a recommendation from a seller I’ve bought from in the past on EBay. Needless to say I jumped on it. You’ll love DCM if you get one. I’m pleased with all of them.
All of these came from EBay, but I think the Santana seller was in California. Mineopet might be the seller’s name? Any Biante will blow you away, they are legit.

Interesting thank you for share

Nice show ... Out of all 7 my favorite is the Jeep .... ✌😁👍
Thanks Mike, some beauties in this bunch.
I remember when the 3000GT was huge in the 90s. Remember that in Gran Turismo back in the day, beautiful car.
Heck yeah, the rich dude at my school got a 3000GT when he got his license. Classic 90’s move.
Great casting ... Good everything you show
Thank you Vicky! Have a great day. -David
