Hadn't played this game in a long time so came back to watch this video..... have to say, there are days I miss the "Good ol' Rahdo" videos. Don't get me wrong, love the upgraded production you've been showcasing, but there's just something about these videos that make me feel at home from when I first discovered you!! Take care
Late to the game, but just got this for my birthday and after reading the instructions, wasn't overly confident on how to setup and play this game (and was wondering why I wanted it in the first place). I watched your video (and the next two to get the full package) and not only do I fully get this game now, but I'm excited to play it. Thanks so much for your videos.... had never come across you before but will be subscribing now. Love your speed of talking, great voice, light humor, and excellent understanding of what you do. Thanks again, all the best, cheers!
At around @5:30 you mentioned you play both actions at once in regular CoB. The way we played it is just like in the card game. Everyone does their first action and then their second. Makes it much more interesting with figuring out who wants what etc.
Amazing how looking at your play makes understanding the rules so easier... First time I eyeballed the rules manual, I could not understand anything... Gave me the idea the game was much more convoluted than it is... good job.
Once again, thank you for getting me started quickly with a game that has taken me weeks to get going because I'm just not great with rule books. THANKS!
At around 18:55 Rahdo says "when you ship goods that's when the player marker changes hands" at the top of page 14 in the rules online it says "If the start player card is still face up, the card is passed to the next player in clockwise order, who become the start player for the entire round."
I got this for Christmas from my sister. It looked a bit daunting, but after you went through it, it looks fun! I hope to play it with her this weekend!
I play this solo and it's a quick fun little game that makes me want to play the board game. Only downer is shuffling between games. Everything is clumped together. :(
Funny that you posted this because i played this game for the first time today. It is really fun. Are the colors more vibrant than the board game? They appear to be. Love your videos!
How does the single-player variant work? Would that option make this card game worth buying for someone like me who LOVES the original but doesn't often succeed in getting others to play it with him?
I own and love Castles of Burgundy. This seems interesting, but superfluous, so it probably won't find a home on my shelves (probably for the best best, bookshelf #3 is filling up and more KS games are coming, lol). But I do have to ask what the egregious translation error was. I'm curious how much it would have messed things up.
Where did you get that play mat? I've been trying to get something exactly like that. I haven't seen you play with it on your table before. Thanks for the videos!
Well I must ask, what's up with the new playmat on the glass table? ;) It looks very good, need something like that for my wooden table. Great run through as always.
Hey rahdo, can you share some info about this black playmat of yours? I can't read the text logo in the top left corner. Thank you. Greate playthrough as always!!!
Hi radho, 9:38 You take a mine directly to your state (as bonus action after building a Castle) without passing the proyects area. Is this ok? (I'm still learning ). Thank You Cheers from Spain

Really dont understand in 17:30+ how you number 2 dice card with two workers transform to six (for Jane)? 2+1+1 worker= 4 ? Right?
2-1-1=6 because you can "wrap around" :)
At 16:34, would it have been better to use the other "die" to refill to two workers and then install the wagon wheel for two more?
+Tor Iver Wilhelmsen that would have been smart :)

+pebre79 i would say yes to that
15:22 "jen can see i dont have a 3" but you need a 5 to get the card
How does the single-player variant work? Would that option make this card game worth buying for someone like me who LOVES the original but doesn't often succeed in getting others to play it with him?
+Mentat1231 check my top10 solo games runthrough i did recently. i talked about how it works there. answer to your question: yes :)
*****
Thanks!
15:27 Snapping the yellow card doesn't require a 3 but a 5.
a few seconds later he used the 5 to get the card... that's why no note was made!
I have my English copy in the UK since March
+Bernie Salinas i stand corrected! :)

+Zero Bad Ideas i talked about it in the final thoughts
+rahdo ah, okay. Didn't get there yet, I was watching at work and then got busy. And then came home and passed out :S
I picked up the English edition, should arrive tomorrow. Does anyone know if the huge rule screw-up is in the printed rules?
i believe it is, but check the final thougts, i mention the specifics there :)
I'll report back once I get my copy, in case anyone else is wondering.
Paul Young I am still wondering, any feedback?

Zee Garcia has the same table mat. I really like it. Where did you get it?
ruclips.net/video/gegXfvWFUzA/видео.html :)

+Marlon Kruis quivergaming.com
+comment is superfluous ok thanks. Any idea about the price? And I assume US based?
Hi my game table is damaged, so I'm interested in playmat also. But I can't see the reply from Rahdo. Can you repost his answer?
+Bryan Affolter i didn't reply because 'commetn is superfluous' already mentioned that it's a mat from quivergaming.com :)
+rahdo doing a walkthrough soon then? ;)
What do you do if your dice can do nothing?
then you collect workers so that in future turns you'll be able to change your dice to perfect results
Does anyone know where I can print off the English rules please?
googling "castles of burgundy rules pdf" got me this: www.fgbradleys.com/rules/rules4/The%20castles%20of%20burgundy%20-%20rules.pdf :)
HI,
Actually i have the english version in Romania.
What are the translation errors???
+Raccoon i mentioned it in final thoughts
hi radho, so are you both supposed show each other what 2 cards you pick from your decks, or do they remain hidden in each other's hands? many thanks.
yup not secret :)
Hey rahdo, can you share some info about this black playmat of yours? I can't read the text logo in the top left corner. Thank you. Greate playthrough as always!!!
+Wayne Static you can find more at quivergaming.com i'll be doing a runthrough for it in the next month or so :)
+rahdo thank you very much!

Ok I see, you detect it after a few minutes, well done!
had to pause it and look for help, thanks
Perhaps showing how to actually set up would be great 🤔
So even though Jen got three silver she doesn’t get the Triple bonus card? 🤨🤔
timestamp please
Kannst du Deutsch lesen?
meine deutsch ist nicht so gut! :)
You speak German?
nur ein bisschen! :)
