In the history of Touring Talkies channel., no video has got do many likes and views. Mr. Chithra himself would be shocked to see the response for Mr. Manickam.. truly he’s one Manickam only. Pavam, I feel sad for him. Again Manickam has helped Chithra Chanel grow multifold .. 😀
Having watched all the 6 episodes and eagerly waiting for the 7th one. I feel this Mr.Narayanan is very plain and simple minded. He respects those who are truthful and sincere to their job. He has spoken highly of all those who are generally perceived as arrogant by the media and others - Illaiyaraja, Harris Jeyaraj, Sivakumar, Prakash Raj and Vijay. Even though he’s talking about the losses he’s still maintains a good relationship with almost all of them. With Ajith he seems to be very offended and upset that Ajith has completely disagreed borrowing money. This is not the first time he’s complained. Court will not accept his ledger books as an evidence that whys he’s tried to get the DD from Stanchart. All 90s kids know if Ajith’s tantrums and his fights with film industry people. I remember reading tabloids full of news about Ajith and Nic arts Chakravarthy. That producer sponsored his car races and I don’t know where that man is now.. Also GV, he’s such a nice man. This is one of the best interviews and definitely unforgettable for Mr. Chithra. I think it will go for another 3 episodes.. 😄

I have been a keen enthusiast of Chai with Chitra, this is the most scintillating and thought provoking interview Chitra Laxman has ever had up to date, the experiences of this producer makes me shudder at the thought of what happens to producers, the money gouging / threats / unreasonable demands by all associations related to the film industry makes me feel revolting.
His candid views did not spare the ones we thought were decent individuals, he has torn them apart in shreds.
Being a honest man is a big mistake in this film industry. Being a decent individual he has not disclosed many individuals.
Kamalhasan says in a movie, all the recognition due to a honest man is going to the bad men, this stands true vis a vis Mr Manikam Narayan.
He says because of a few honest people only it rains it is true, we have faith in that and in a very few people like him.
I have heard of the notorious Saxena of Sun TV, Mr Manickam Narayan is a living example of what happened to the industry during the DMK period and the total grip Sun TV had on the film industry during DMK raj. Shame on them.
Dear Chitra, in every interview you end with a question , how was the industry before and how is it now, Now Mr Manikam Narayan has given the answer without lacing . In fact he was saying things
which was running in your mind and things you already knew but could not reveal. He has expressed most of the torture even you would have experienced as a Producer.
Finally please do not edit your interviews when you have some one so frank and forthcoming. Best interview ever. Please interview more of this breed it will put those to shame who had cheated and threatened the Producers.
Mr Narayan feel proud of you !!! Long live people like you, You may have lost a lot of money, but you haven't lost your self respect and faith in being honest. But you have the respect of a few
