it's my head cannon now that your vids are just documenting the events of john helldiver's life, who completes suicide mission after suicide mission, seeing the worst the second intergalactic war has to offer. he begins to see through the cracks of the facade of managed democracy, yet continues to fight, because where else would he go
@schmoopy135 That was exactly what I was trying to convey with the vids! It's almost like John is coming to terms with all of it. Accepting one's situation as it is now. Like a Stormtrooper.
A cadet and two Hell Commanders invited me to the last Dark Fluid mission ever completed on Meridia. We entered the black hole. We won. We escaped back through the hole. It felt like being a part of history, in a strangely immersive way... And THIS video captures the intensity, the thrills, the emotions, of playing Helldivers 2. Badass! Two thumbs up, love this shit.
The fact that you can make this, just using in game footage, is fucking insane. Obviously your editing and music choice are top notch, but this could be a trailer for an actual, triple-A, Hollywood, sci-fi production. As stated by another commenter below, the final scene with the squad and mech in what looks like a defensive stand, was breathtaking. Three other incredible shots were the bot anti air guns blazing as he runs forward, and the two instances of the Hulks eating railgun strikes with that AMAZING music synchronization. Dude, fuckin' A! Only thing missing was an "EAT THIS!" somewhere in this montage, but this was seriously epic. WELL DONE, Helldiver!
Democracy's Will shall never falter, the grasp of Freedom will extend to every planet, Galactic Liberation is at hand, our enemies will be crushed under the boot of our cause! Democratia Invicta! For Super Earth!
This is a really nice edit, but I'd REALLY reduce or completely remove the "rotating camera" effect. It takes a lot for me to get motion sick but this video did it real fast
I found it is too much too, and glad someone else felt the same way. Occasional times for it is fine, or a consistent angle, but the constant swaying is too much
@@HazyDaze-01 You should! Besides film production, a lot of the bigger RUclipsrs hire editors. Post production is also where the most steady jobs in Hollywood are.

Nah, this is just a normal Tuesday for a Helldiver
That’s what is so amazing about this game
Arrowhead should just run this as part of their marketing campaign. Great work.

Yeah, that was seriously incredible.
Overall, the editing is delightful.
Well that was the most badass helldivers mashup I've ever seen. Absolute masterpiece!!

This is an epic edit, here before it blows up.
great edit, one of the best co op game ever made...
Well done, soldier. You honored the memory of our fallen comrades and paved the way for managed democracy.
My life for Liberty.
I got chills watching this epic video. That was a awesome video montage! ✊️
imagine showing this to someone from 1980s
Imagine showing this to someone from the 1940s and saying "yeah war is like this in the future."
Absolutely Amazing

WELL DONE, Helldiver!
Thank you for the high praise!
This just popped into my recommended, and I'm not complaining. Holy shit.
Here for the algorythm. Epic Edit!
You made Democracy proud more than ever Helldiver
Really good!, hope you're able to make more like this.
Great video! Well done!
Mmm, yes, the sound of democracy. So good.
Well done!
Democracy's Will shall never falter, the grasp of Freedom will extend to every planet, Galactic Liberation is at hand, our enemies will be crushed under the boot of our cause!
Democratia Invicta! For Super Earth!
Hell yes! Love the videos man!
Glad you like them!
Holy shit this goes hard
This is why we dive.
Let that be a lesson, Universe. If Super Earth can't control a planet, we'll just make sure there won't BE one anymore, so don't mess with us.
Wow, well done!
Epic!
This is fire :)
Epic indeed.

I'll be sure to keep that in mind! Thanks for the honest input!

The end is so funny

Awesome!
SPILL. OIL. Gentlemen.
The Planet Broke before the Terminids did!
These are amazing. If you don't already, you should consider pursuing video editing as a job.
Thank you! I'm really thinking about doing that. I'll have to look into it.

50fps is an usual choice. It feels a bit jagged on my screen, possibly due to non variable frame rate on MacOS.
I'd prefer 30fps or 24fps (cinematic)

SIC SEMPER TALOS
FEET TOWARD CYBERSTAN
The constant zoom in/out in this video is giving me motion sickness.
Sorry about that, brother.
