What the Flake! Sprayable Metal Flake from LiME LiNE

Hey, Y’all Im painting this chopper set with some LiME LiNE metal flake. These part have been primed with a 2k sandable primer dried then sanded with 600 grit sandpaper. Cleaned it up with some glass cleaner and hung them in the booth. Its better to use a black base for your metal flake to lay on (more sprakle). The black basecoat from LiME LiNE is mixed with urethane reducer 1:1. Spray 3 coats with a 5 minute flash time between. LiME LiNE metal flake is mixed into a clear basecoat or clearcoat. Spray 3 coats or until desired look is achieved. Let dry for 20-30 minutes and coat with 2k catalyzed clearcoat. Let set overnight and sand with 600 to get ready for graphics and candy paint.

Nice! Good to see you progressing the business. Question for you. What would be causing tiny piting in the final coat ? Maybe not enough finish sanding or possibly too much heat when polishing at the end. Looks kinda like dust.

Could be a couple of things you may be trapping air in your clearcoat by spraying it too wet. Maybe also Possibly moisture in your air
