- Miami Vice Classic! Trudy is working the streets, spreading the word that Butch will be taking all the street action. They bust a pimp named Sugarbear and Butch (Tubbs) acts like he owns the police, then gets a call that Carla wants Tubbs to get her out of jail.

He rejected her twice in the episode called "Little Miss Dangerous".
Firstly, I don't blame her for not going for the kiss after several prior rejections from Tubbs. Kudos to her for having some pride lol. Secondly, I'm glad the two of them never got together. I think Tubbs understood that it wouldn't work between them. And just because Sonny and Gina had a fling doesn't mean that they should have.
@zukini8763 great point. As a single woman I think Trudy was ready. She thought Castillo was cute when he first arrived in One Eyed Jack, and in The Dutch Oven, she was all touchy feely with Sonny.

IT's kind of amazing all the big name stars that appeared on MV. Action film stars to rockers. TV actors from other name shows. No other TV show has done this.
Wesley Snipes just as he was making it bg in Hollywood. On hisi way up. Had martial arts training. Not sure if before he did this episode. Would have beat Tubbs. :) Not that it matters. But just tht hes not the first "qualified" star or athlete to be asked to appear in a TV show or film and be the "loser". Even die for the main star. To make it look as if Tubbs was stronger here. Had better moves.
So many times in film even...whee they would have ex-champions be the bad guy and have to loose the fight. Against film stars who never even competed on any level. Jackie Chan's done this in his films (vs Bill "superfoot" Wallace, ex-middleweight kickboxing champion. Undefeated. World champion. Also had Benn Urquidez, undefeated lightweight kickboxing champion). Bruce Lee did the same...he never competed but had Chuck Norris "die" for him in Way Of The Dragon. Donnie Yen had Mike Tyson in Yip Man 4... Obviously having big name ex champions sells tickets to the films. :) Ironic the stars wouldn't even have been a challenge.
Recall MV h ad Roberto Duran play a bad guy. Did a good job. Had the look. Could intimidate. And you knew his background. "hands of stone" Duran. :)
With the scrapping of the planned Ireland premiere, the episode "El Viejo" was subsequently intended to be the season opener, but was held back due to Don Johnson's holdout and studio executives at NBC thinking the destruction of Crockett's car would make a better start to the season. As a result of this change to the running order of the episodes, the Daytona would be "resurrected" six episodes after its destruction, causing a major continuity goof.
