Saima Chauhdry is one of the best writers in now adays.
No doubt...she is a perfect writer....bcoz unk dramay ma log lines ko enjoy krty hn .not only performances....
Pleased to see saima akram..presence in such program is itself great achievement..one word for the host, she was representing her writings and dramas..so answerable for her own work. She was not there to defend content written by others. Conversation could be very interesting discussing her characters, source, feedback, people's reaction etc..Anyway she faced the undue criticism gracefully. Haseena moin sahiba would refuse to add because she knew her opinion mattered..moreover don't forget actors used to rehears many days before recording..means norms change. How can Saima change policies of production houses .keep it up Saima..

Norman sahab is soooooo biased n critical with SAIMA CHUDHRY and she is humble enough to keep smiling really I am watching whole programme n I am angry over it
Dramas are not always to discuss serious issues they are for light entertainment too.Saima is the best for that kind of writing
Norman sir sometimes you become biased in your opinion, you’re asking all kind of questions to Khalid Anam but with Saima Chaudhry stuck with drama industry writing issues. Just because she’s the writer of this digest writer era doesn’t mean she’s representing all writers. You can criticize a creative work but can’t limit them to do this or don’t do that. Will you ask a poet why you are writing all about romance and woman beauty and not about tasawwuf or revolution. Saima has lot of work other than her dramas and non comedy work but I think a compare should do his homework about his guest and be critical or appreciative to their work rather them generalize them to their profession it’s an insult to them. What if someone invite you as a guest and talk about whole actors tantrums and attitude issues, you must be answerable for your attitude not others. An educated actor and host like you, we don’t expect this. I hope everyone has room for improvement and you need here. Sorry for any unknown hurting but people who really care don’t just appreciate. Thanks 🙏

The pathetic standards that these writers have fallen to. These writers are just money making machines. Is ko pyar ho gaya, wo bhag gai, etc.
Zero content nowadays. Check how our dramas used to be in the 80s and 90s. Issues, depth, creativity used to be there. But now it's just money making people.
Saima chaudhery is not writing anything like she was asked to give explanation for, it was unfair to her. She has written wonderful stuff during past 2,3 years. Sad to see she was not even properly introduced by the host. If you can not give due respect to a guest, stop calling them to your show either.
Unfortunately the standards have stooped too low in today's society.
If you call today's stuff "wonderful", then that's exactly the problem we are facing today. Because they get ads based on what you consider "wonderful", which is in reality pathetic.

Madam Saima Chaudhry is absolutely correct that there was no choice when only national TV was viewed until private players came in. Now people have lots of alternatives. I am so happy to learn from Madam Saima that she still follows ethics and does not want to write something which leaves a bad taste in society. A clean but powerful drama when written also sent messages to the present days viewers and can be watched with family. Mr. Nauman Ijaz is not only a wonderful person as a host but a great actor too. I love Norman Sahab acting his speech and sayings. Nobody is criticizing him, people are speaking up about their difference of opinion that the way she was questioned the whole program didn’t seem justified and again we love Norman sir and the humble way he accepted appreciation he’ll open heartedly listen to others opinion too, agree or not agree is his choice. It’s called healthy debate.

The biggest responsibility lies on the channel owners to make and change policies. The writer is as helpless as the actor is in this regard, so why asking writers to stop writing substandard stuff, why can't actors also refuse to play toxic characters. Actors think only they have to run their kitchens.
Writers write substandard stuff because they are greedy for money. As mentioned in the program, the great Hasina Moin would put her foot down and refuse to write substandard stuff. That's called courage, that's called character.
Today's writers have so many channels to go to, but just because of their greed they stoop so low.
