I bought a KS5L at mining disrupt from the girls at the iceriver booth for like $4k. Talked her into selling me the demo unit! It fixed my KS0. I was able to get it online. If your running F2 pool, just use your worker name, dont include wallet address in the wallet/worker field.
Let it run with it's own fans on auto mode.
The thing it did was fix the fan speeds to attempt the goal of 85c for optimal hash. Now, the fan speed will auto adjust the %. I don't have to monitor it now ha. It's working awesome.
Does it wirk after official firmware upgrade or you make it by yourself?
Hey Rabid, I just received 4 KSO Ultras, firmware is 3_2_14 like your original, NONE of them had the Home screen issue, all reporting and working just fine with them all on DHCP. Does not look like a firmware issue, maybe a batch issue with the KS0 Ultras you have.

Ya gotta see might not be one the firmware is encoded and hasn't been cracked yet but pbfarmer is working on it.
Help needed. After watching the video On this miner I went to their website, ordered, paid with my crypto and a week later nothing from them. I checked my payment did go through with the shipping added still nothing. I've emailed them 3 times no reply and I checked spam in case I missed it. Nothing, I'm out $295 and no one to talk to. What ideas do you have for me? Thanks.

Just got 3 ks0 uktra today, I have like you have the machine offline message on home tab. All good on the kaspa pool dashboard tho. There I can see the hashrate. My biggest concern is related to the fans. I hear them spinning wild at miner start for like 2 mins but then they stop and at least for 30 mins they haven't started. The miner is very hot, so hot that I can't touch it for more than 2 seconds. Is this normal behavior? Since I have no dashboard from the miner I can't really see any temps so I'm not sure how the default fans works. Any advice? Thanks 👍
Can go in and set the fans I run at 100%
@@RabidMining can't do that as the miner dashboard display the message with machine offline. So I have no control over the fan speed 🤦

Ok im around 67 to 70 .. seems to drop the hash rate when i put a fan on and cools the minner down @RabidMining

Out of box i have had same expirience but i also have that i removed all external fans and left it on auto mine hashes and stays on 61-62C with 400 gh/s. If i do anything with fans on manual or external hashrate drops. So i am leaving it as it is
How do you set fans to auto i aint seen a setting for that just fan speed with little box with pocetage and mode normal or sleep @Just9602

I wrote support about twenty times regarding how the fans are at 0 rpm for me and the fan speed always reads Abnormal. They said it was normal. I said well then please let it read normal. After applying the update, the fans are still at 0 rpm but now it reads Normal! That's what I see fixed. lol
for me the fan start spunning after 86c temp1 reported on dashboard
@@yukotakaeda4163 Wow! I am used to F. Did a conversion. That is 186.8 degrees F. Smokin hot. It looks like they fixed the dashboard to read Normal even when the fans are at 0 rpm. I don't see any other changes yet.

firmware doesnt update.... It just comes back as Failed when trying to update. Any sugestions?
Remember, the firmware is Beta which means there can be issues, you might want to wait for a full release updated version
I understand that’s I want to try it on 1 miner first to see what is does. But I cannot even upload it to the miner. So maybe I am doing something wrong? I tried another computer another browser checking if I have the right file and redownloading the file. Cannot figure out why it keeps coming back as failed instead of operation successful. The miner is still working fine on the “old” firmware.
