Shannon.... Even though I’m an adrenaline junkie, there’s NO WAY I would ever get on the back of a scooter being driven by someone NOT wearing a helmet. That’s just an accident waiting to happen 🤙😘👌

Shannon.... With all due respect to you...... PLEASE THINK TWICE before getting on a bike or scooter being ridden/driven by someone NOT wearing a helmet. You’re just asking for trouble in that situation. The dangers involved are enormous & can prove fatal in an accident. At least you did the smart thing & wore a helmet but you may want to have a few quiet words with your friend about accidents, helmet safety etc before deciding whether or not to get back on one.
Gerard Roll hey Gerard! I told her and she said we were just going 10mph for a quick ride in the neighborhood but she knows that she helmet safety is important 🤗

Even a slow speed ride can be fatal because all it would take would be for a car, truck or bus to suddenly come “flying” out of a side street at even the set speed limit & it would be enough to take you both out & it would be “all over red rover” (end of the road). Riding a bike without a helmet is like playing Russian Roulette with your life or getting in a car with someone driving who’s been drinking.
.....Shannon, I apologise if I’m sounding too much like a “rambling parent”, but again, PLEASE think twice before putting yourself in danger like that because no reassurances of “only going slowly” will be enough to save your life in the event of an impact with another vehicle or even if a small child ran out in front of you onto the road for some reason. I don’t want to put a dampener on your fun, but you only get “one life to live” & I wouldn’t be putting my life in the hands of someone who wasn’t obeying the road rules no matter what they promised.

Shannon Hemmings ..... That’s great to hear 🤙😎👍 I do all sorts of weird & crazy stuff as an “adrenaline junkie” but am always thinking 2 steps ahead & doing everything I can to ensure my safety. I would never put my life in danger through ignorance of safety rules which was why, when I saw your friend wasn’t wearing a helmet was thinking “WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING???” Remember..... Your health & safety is “priority #1” ☝️😁👌
